🌞🐶 HOT WEATHER WARNING FOR DOG OWNERS 🐶🌞

As temperatures rise, please remember — if it’s too hot for you, it’s definitely too hot for your dog’s paws. 🥵

🚫 Avoid walking your dogs during the hottest parts of the day. Pavements can burn their paw pads in seconds and heatstroke can happen very quickly.

✅ Instead:
🐾 Walk early morning or later in the evening
💧 Keep plenty of fresh water available
🧊 Use cooling mats, frozen treats, or paddling pools
🌳 Stay in shaded areas
🏠 Keep them cool indoors with good airflow

A simple test: place the back of your hand on the pavement for 5 seconds — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws.

Please keep an eye on older dogs, puppies, and flat-faced breeds especially, as they struggle more in the heat ❤️
