Little sweetheart Leo came in for a dental procedure with our experienced team.

The first photo is when he was all prepped for his anaesthetic and the second photo is him having some time outside during his recovery afterwards.

❓Did you know, that before EVERY anaesthetic, each patient gets:

✅ full physical examination
✅temperature check
✅pre anaesthetic bloods (optional, but these are fantastic at highlighting any underlying issues which may mean we are able to change the plan or delay with treatment before an anaesthetic is carried out. Pre anaesthetic bloods check liver, kidneys, full blood count and other values)
✅Intravenous catheter is placed
✅Intravenous fluids (if needed) - usually advised in older or very sick patients

✅Their own anaesthetic chart which is updated during their procedure with a log of their vital checks, medication given and details on their recovery
✅Lots of reassuring fuss (when welcomed) - some patients can be a bit more wary when they come to stay with us for the day, which is understandable, but we cater to each individual needs
