Benefits of neutering your male dog include -

- reduces risk of testicular and prostate cancer
- lessens the need for them to run off, seeking a female
- no unwanted urine marking
- can help with certain hormone related behaviours/aggression

Our Story

Blackheath Veterinary Surgery was opened in South East London in March 2006. We serve clients from London, Greenwich, Charlton, Woolwich, Lewisham and South East London. We believe in an efficient service and a happy, positive environment so that you and your pet are comfortable and relaxed at all times. Whatever your visit involves, whether it's vaccination or minor surgery, each pet is looked after by our trained team of veterinary staff, making your pet feel as comfortable as possible We are a two vet practice and are renowned for our caring and expert advice. We offer full support and a professional service, providing the highest standard of care for your family pets. A large number of services are available including high quality x-rays, ultrasound and laparoscopic/keyhole surgery. Free parking is available outside the surgery, which is located in Westcombe Park on Humber Road.
