As humans, we all know how important it is to clean our teeth, but what about our pets❓ 🦷 🦷 🦷 🦷 🦷 🦷

Whilst daily brushing from day 1️⃣ is ideal, we appreciate not every pet will cooperate no matter how hard you try❗️

Start with a children's sized tooth brush & ALWAYS use pet friendly tooth paste. NEVER EVER use human tooth paste (some contain Xylitol which can be toxic to pets).

Cutie Pie 🧡 Ellie 💛, in recently for X-ray’s 🩻 to check all was healing well following her surgery, performed by Dr Matthew at our Hounslow practice, for a luxating patella (a condition where the kneecap dislocates).

She was feeling a little sleepy after the Xrays, but we’re pleased to report all is healing well & she can go back to normal exercise. 👍

Microchips & your pets, things you need to know .....

- You are responsible for keeping your pet's microchip information up to date, for example if you move house. Contact your microchip database directly to manage any updates (if you need help, please ask our friendly team).

- A chip is about the size of a grain of rice & may cause discomfort for a few seconds - but our team can supply lots of treats to combat this!

- Nearly 13,000 pets registered with Identibase go missing each year in the UK.

Mircochipping Your Puppy, 🐶
Not only is microchipping a legal requirement, it's also the quickest way to reunite owners with their lost pets.
By UK law, all dogs over the age of 8 weeks must have a microchip.
When it's time to bring your new pup home, the breeder should provide you with the microchip number & information, allowing you to transfer the contact details to yourself.
You can be fined up to £500 if your dog is not chipped!

Our team can place a microchip during a routine consultation.

Our four surgeries also offer great value starter packages for puppies and kittens, a Pet Healthcare Club helping to make routine treatments easy and affordable. The Club includes: Vaccinations, flea and worming treatments, Lungworm protection for dogs, annual and six monthly health checks with a vet, nail clipping and 10% off all other products and services we offer. The monthly payments are affordable and set to a date of your choice.

We are able to perform most medical and surgical procedures and complex investigations such as fracture repair, cancer treatments, spinal surgery, endoscopy, or ultrasound scans. Our Hounslow and Ealing surgeries boast state of the art operating theatres and we also prepare Pet Passports for many travelling cats and dogs from all over the West London area.
