✨ A puppy’s first trip to the groomers can feel a little scary. Imagine being just a few weeks old and hearing clippers buzzing, dryers blowing, and meeting new people in a brand-new place. It can be a lot for a little one! That’s why early, gentle introductions are so important, with patience, cuddles, and positive experiences, puppies soon learn that grooming can be fun and nothing to worry about. 🐶💛

Today we had the pleasure of meeting Foxy 🦊 a beautiful 16-week-old Pom × Chihuahua. He was a little nervous at first, but he did amazingly well for his very first groom. Such a brave boy and an absolute superstar! 🌟🐾

✨ Today we had the pleasure of grooming a very special boy, Griff the Welsh Terrier 🐾💙

Griff sadly lost his sight a few years ago after a nasty infection, which makes the grooming process a little more challenging for him. But with plenty of reassurance, patience, and regular breaks, he absolutely smashed it today! 🌟

He may not have his eyes, but Griff has the biggest heart and the bravest spirit. We’re so proud of him and it was a joy to give him some well-deserved pampering. 💕

Well done Griff!! you’re a superstar! 🌟🐶

🐾 Did you know? 🐾
Despite their name, French Bulldogs didn’t actually start in France! 🇬🇧➡️🇫🇷

They originated in England during the Industrial Revolution. English lace workers brought these little companions with them to France when they moved for work. It was there that their now-famous “bat ears” were developed through selective breeding. 🐶💖

So, while they may be called French Bulldogs, their roots are truly English with a little French flair! 🇫🇷✨

🐾 Quick Guide: Fueling Your Furry Friends! 🐾
Want your pet to live their best life? It all starts with what’s in their bowl! A balanced diet is key for a happy, healthy companion.

What Your Pet Needs:
• Protein: Essential for strong muscles and healthy bodies (think chicken, beef, fish).
• Fats: Great for energy and a shiny coat (hello, Omega-3s!).
• Carbs: Provide steady energy and fibre (like brown rice and veggies).
• Vitamins & Minerals: Keep everything working perfectly, from immunity to bones.
• Water: The most important! Always fresh and available.

Choosing Food in the UK:
Look for the PFMA (Pet Food Manufacturers’ Association) statement on labels – it means the food is complete and balanced for your pet’s life stage. Consider their age, size, and activity level too!

Human Foods to AVOID (Seriously!):
• Chocolate
• Grapes & Raisins
• Onions & Garlic
• Xylitol (artificial sweetener)
• Alcohol & Caffeine

When in doubt, always check with your vet!
