Small Business Saturday 🎉

I wanted to do a shout-out today to a fellow small business - Track and Trail Canine Outfitters, run by Amy and Max 🐕

I have followed Amy's business since the start. You could consider us competitors, but I've always loved Amy's social media & the honest way she shares her day-to-day business life. We share very similar values & reasons for setting up our businesses 👍

This week, Amy got in touch with me because she had a customer whose dog she couldn't find a canicross harness for, & so she recommended me to the customer, & passed on my details so we could connect 🤗

This creates a win for the customer, for Track & Trail Canine, because the customer will trust Amy to do the right thing & not just sell her something that doesn't fit or work properly for her dog, & it's a win for me, because I have the opportunity to find something that will work, from the huge range we have here ✅

I am very grateful for people like Amy, who operate ethically & collaboratively with other small businesses, & so I wanted to give her business a shout out. Donnie ran in a variety of harnesses throughout his life, but the x-backs always worked well for him 👍

My dog's expressions about being models haven't changed much either 😆

Although we don't stock this brand any more, we have replaced it with the Arctic Wolf X-Backs & we hope to have some exciting news for you about them soon...

What do we do here at K9 Trail Time? Sell harnesses? 🤔

Yes, but so much more...

I mentioned last week that we try & test everything we sell, that is one of our non-negotiables for stocking new equipment 🤨

I have 4 four-legged testers here, who may not always appreciate being chief testers, but I could not put anything on the website that I didn't feel confident in ❌

I also sometimes send out brand new products to our ambassadors who give me their feedback too 🤗

The harnesses have to work for a variety of dogs, bungees & belts have to be strong, & all the extras we stock have to be more than fit for purpose ✅

I'm also going to be honest, I love getting new things for the dogs, so this is a part of the business I really enjoy 😆
