How to save a life……..

Why is there a stick on a string in the water trough you may ask?

It's a critter escape ramp! We have all kinds of wildlife looking for water, and they are fond of nice, clean livestock troughs. Birds, squirrels, and other rodents especially. But without a way to escape, they can drown in those same troughs. A simple piece of wood ( not creosote treated as it will contaminate the drinking water ) with a hole drilled in it for a string to tie on the panel and our little wild friends have something to climb out on. Saving lives is easy!
