🐎 Experienced Rider – Full-Time Position
Small, friendly racing yard near Brighton, on the South Downs.
We are looking for an experienced and confident rider to join our small, friendly team due to a long-standing member of staff sadly leaving us.
Previous experience working in racing would be ideal, but is not essential. We would be very happy to hear from someone with good riding experience who is keen to learn and become part of the team.
This is a full-time position for someone who wants to get involved with the yard and go racing. Box driver preferred.
Hours & time off:
• 8am–3pm weekdays — our working day is put together rather than having the usual racing-yard split shift
• No evening stables
• Saturday morning 8am-1:30pm
• 1 weekend in 3 (Saturday morning + evening stables and Sunday morning muck out and evening stables)
• One afternoon off each week, finishing at 1:30pm.
Holiday, pool money, overtime and salary as per industry guidelines.
We are lucky to be based in a beautiful location on the South Downs, with fantastic views and lovely surroundings.
