☀️ It's getting hot!

We're loving the summer weather, but remember to make sure horses everywhere are kept cool, comfortable and safe...

💧 Water – Make sure fresh, clean water is always available. Check troughs and top up buckets regularly.

🌳 Shade and shelter – Horses need access to shade, whether natural or man-made, when turned out.

🌬️ Ventilation – Improve airflow in stables.

🧴 Sunburn – Protect pink skin with horse-specific sun cream or UV-protective fly masks.

🪰 Flies and midges – Use repellents correctly, keep stables clean and consider fly rugs and masks if required.

🏇 Exercise – Avoid the hottest times of day (10am–4pm) and cool your horse down thoroughly after work.

🚛 Travel – Travel early, keep trips short and ensure plenty of ventilation and hydration.

Held at Lakeside Equestrian LE9 7TF

⚠️We've changed the format slightly, Dressage will start at 9am & the In-Hand Showing will begin at 10am on grass - If you're wanting to do Dressage and inhand please make a note and we will accommodate your times⚠️

🐎Ridden will be on a surface in the afternoon.

🦄Novelty classes will be in the grass ring with a different judge

💃Dressage is pre entry only via www.myridinglife.com

😘Showing is cheaper to pre enter at my riding life but we will take entries on the day by cash or card.
