We currently have some spaces available on our yard for horses to join our herds.

Facilities;

20x60 outdoor all weather arena

20x40 indoor arena
*BRAND NEW ANDREW BOWENS SURFACE*

All year turnout and 24/7 turnout in summer.

Full use of all facilities on the yard.

Side saddle clinic here at Blaby Mill in October 🎉

New Clinic Venue- Blaby Mill Stables, Blaby, Leicestershire LE8 4FG
Saturday 7th October. Individual lessons of 45 minutes. Suitable for all levels of side-saddle riders from those wanting to have a go for the first time to existing riders wanting to fine tune their riding. I have a wide selection of side-saddles to fit most horses and larger ponies. Dependent on the weather, lessons can take place in either an indoor or outdoor arena.
Lesson price is £65 for 3/4 hour £50 for liveries of Blaby Mill Stables to include arena hire and the use of one of my saddles if needed.

Open to liveries and non-liveries, riders of all levels welcome (you can also take part in-hand) and it doesn’t matter whether it’s your first try at Working Equitation or if you’re a seasoned pro; you will be able to learn new skills 👌

We are pleased to offer a couple of spots available for a Mia Rodley The Heart of Horsemanship day clinic here at Blaby Mill. Specialising in liberty, horsemanship, classical dressage and Working Equitation.

If anyone would be interested in a space for 29th April please pop us a message 🐴🐎 limited space available.

A little about Mia from her website,

In the last 2 years Mia found her passion for performance, liberty and classical dressage and this is what she wants to specialize in alongside her horse training and teaching. She particularly likes working with stallions due to their high dignity, true spirit and need to have a high level of skills, focus and intent. She has spent a great deal of time with Ben Atkinson and performed alongside Atkinson Action Horses.

She has also discovered her love for the competitive sport, Working Equitation, which has four phases of dressage, ease of handling, speed and cattle penning. Truly putting her principles to a purpose. She was selected to join the 2020, 2021 and 2022 Working Equitation Development Squad and receives monthly training with Paulo Santos, coach of Team GB, and hopes to compete internationally in the near future.

Mia is a positive, outgoing and enthusiastic young lady and this is reflected in her teaching and her attitude when working with horses.

LIVERY SPACES AVAILABLE

We currently have some rare livery spaces available here at Blaby Mill Stables in South Leicester!

Our facilities here include;
- 20 x 40 Martin Collins indoor arena with mirrors
- 20 x 60 all weather outdoor arena with floodlights.
- selection of poles, jumps and fillers for your unlimited use.
- all year round split herd turnout in spacious fields
- Individual fully electrified paddocks are also available, 25m x 120m
- Ample horse box/trailer parking for liveries

With COVID restrictions hopefully changing in the New Year we are hoping to get back to holding regular clinics and combined training with a variety of instructors.

Dear all,

It is with great regret that we are temporarily closing our hire facilities here at Blaby Mill.

Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak and having some very high risk liveries we have decided that for the time being we will be closing all outside use of the yard.

This has not been a decision taken lightly but the welfare of our liveries is of the most importance to us.

Hopefully we can all return back to normal in the very near future and we look forward to seeing you in hopefully the remainder of 2020!
