Pets need mental workouts just like we do! 🧩
Try this easy DIY enrichment activity to keep your pet’s brain buzzing:

🐾💧 July is National Pet Hydration Month! 💧🐾

Keeping your pets cool and hydrated is vital, especially in the summer heat! At PDSA Leicester, we’re reminding all pet owners to keep those water bowls full and watch for signs of dehydration. ☀️🐶🐱

🔹 Always provide fresh, clean water
🔹 Keep water bowls in the shade
🔹 Add ice cubes to their bowl or offer pet-safe frozen treats
🔹 Take walks early or late to avoid peak heat
🔹 Never leave pets in cars — even for a minute!

⚠️ Signs of dehydration in pets:
• Lethargy or weakness
• Sunken eyes
• Dry nose or gums
• Loss of appetite

A black female cat with no chip has been bought into PDSA with a necrotic abcess under her chin, now healing.

Found in Chester Close, Leicester. ( St. Mathew's Estate)
She has a tiny flecks of white fur under her left armpit, head, and belly. She is very friendly, a little skinnier. Unknown if she is neutered or not.

The dimms for the cubes has to be approx 33.5 cm square or bigger so we could fit cat baskets inside the cubes.

This dog called (according to microchip info) Bella has just been found in Winstanley Drive area by a member of public. We have tried contacting registered owner by phone and email, however we have not been successful in getting through. Please contact us if you are the owner, proof of ownership will be required.
