Steam trains gives scenic 3 mile round trip along the lake. We have kids party packages, learn to drive a steam train and Santa Trains.

What a great summer we've had to celebrate 40 years! Sadly thats the end of our Summer Season, meaning that we are now only running weekends (until the next half term).

Now, we thought we'd answer a few questions we're being asked regularly.

1. What events have you got coming up!

Well, we have our annual steam gala on the 20/21st of September with 11 steam engines!

2. Are you doing Santa Trains this year and when can we book?

Yes, we certainly are running our ever popular Santa trains! Booking for these will come online around the start of October (we'll announce this when bookings open)

3. What colour train are you running....

We love the enthusiasm people have for our little trains, but sadly we dont always have time to answer enquiries such as these, but you can watch our little railway by the lake 24/7 on our live stream YouTube camera

Our Last week of continuous running for the summer holidays! As of next week we are back to operating at weekends only until October Half Term!

So come and enjoy the ride on our little railway by the lake

We are running on the hour from 11am with last train at 4pm!
Fares are
£5.50 per adult return
£3.50 per child return

Where’s Wallaby?
There are 10 colourful Wallaby sculptures around Staffordshire and one of them is here at Rudyard Lake!

Why not catch one of our 3 steam engines from Rudyard Station this Bank Holiday for our lollipop specials to the beautiful lake and see if you can find it.

Trains are half hour from 11 with last train at 4pm today and as an added bonus our Platform 2 Cafe is now serving iced coffee for only £3.50!

Normal train fares apply
£5.50 per adult return
£3.50 per child return.

As a bonus there’s a free lollipop for every child with a return ticket
