Weekend Café Assistant – Rudyard Lake Railway (Platform 2 Café)
Are you friendly, reliable, and ready to get stuck in? We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual aged 18+ to join our team at the charming Platform 2 Café, right at the heart of Rudyard Lake Railway.
This role is perfect for someone seeking flexible weekend work in a unique and lively setting, surrounded by heritage trains, scenic views, and happy visitors.
What you’ll be doing:
- Serving customers with a warm, welcoming attitude
- Preparing and serving drinks, snacks, and light meals
- Handling payments and operating the till
- Keeping the café clean, tidy, and well-stocked
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the café
What we’re looking for:
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Great communication and people skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Reliability and punctuality
- Previous café or customer service experience is helpful but not essential
