On the scrounge again 🙄
As most know we feed colonies that we have finshed.
They do not have feeders so we go daily and leave wet food and dry and will continue to do so forever.
They have shelter and we also left shelters , but the cost of feeding them is not cheap.
We also feed the colonies daily that are on our list to trap so again not cheap. One of the colonies we are starting also have no feeders so will have to feed them forever too.
Obviously if kittens they do not get returned ,also any pregnant mums if too far gone will go into foster.Any feral adults will be returned.

We are running out of wet food so if anyone can donate some it would be amazing.
Cheap sachets will do, they are grateful for any food.

Much appreciated ###

So our amazing volunteer Alison Midgley
As been busy in Weaberthorpe these past few weeks trapping strays and ferals to stop them breeding along with some lovely locals Helen, Jane and Lisa.

Theodore as you can see is not feral and as an amazing feeder who spoils him rotten 🥰 now castrated.
Felix also as a lovely feeder so was released back to the feeder and castrated. 🥰

Pumpkin and Queenie had given birth to 9 kittens outdoors and were co parenting ❤️❤️ now spayed, no more babies and released back to their amazing feeder.

Fodo the little kitten whos mum is feral was running around the streets and across busy roads.
He was caught and went into foster who as fallen in love with him so he now as an amazing home.
His mum is currently trying to be trapped by Alison. 🥰

The mum who abandoned her 4 kittens is currently still trying to be trapped.
Her kittens are in foster with Alison and doing amazing as you can see from the video 🥰

Sadly there are no rescues this area so we'll help where we can and when possible.

Both mums that are still out there will not be left behind, we have never and never will leave mums behind.

Mum and 2 kittens trapped, this morning now safe and off the streets. 🥰

Sasha one of the multi cat house, neglect home had her results from the fluid sample which as shown negative.
Sadly this means we dont know why she had fluid in her abdomen.
Vets now need to do a ultrasound to look for any abnormalities.
Obviously we are already struggling hence closing our doors to anymore intakes until we do events and raise funds.
We still have others ongoing vet bills for ferals and cats and kittens in our care. Food and litter .
The ultrasound will cost £450- £500 so if anyone can donate towards the cost it would be really appreciated.

I was contacted by a lady on Tuesday whos cat had escaped his carrier 2 weeks ago at pdsa Leeds . He had been with an infection in his paw and had antibiotics to take.
She knew where he was and asked if we could help as he wouldn't come to her.
Went this morning and trapped him so he can now have his medication and pain relief and settle back home.
Not a great picture, he wasnt impressed 🤣

These 3 x 5 week old babies were abandoned by their mum a week ago in Malton.
Thought she would come back to them but it was clear when she returned she was only interested in the food and then left again.
Sometimes these poor mummy's are just exhausted and probably had previous litters.
At least she abandoned them where she knew they would be helped.
They were freezing and filthy bless them.
One of volunteers Alison Midgley who lives in that area as been fosterering them. 🥰
Their doing amazing and shes been attempting to trap the mum since.
Hopefully caught soon ,we never give up on a mummy.
