URGENT APPEAL....

Pansy and Primrose are in desperate need of a temporary fosterer. They are both super affectionate and cuddly! Pansy has to have a special diet but her owner will supply all of their food so you just have to make sure they don't get into each others food as her tummy gets upset!
Theyre currently live in clifford, but their owner is moving to church Fenton temporarily so looking for a foster for 4 to 6 weeks until her new place is ready!
She will provide everything, all you need to provide is loves and cuddles!
They’re her babies! Pansy is about 5ish and prim is 2. She doesn’t really want to separate them ideally!
And theyre inside only kitty cats because of pansy’s diet and prim is so pretty and friendly I don’t trust her to not get catnapped!
Can anyone help please?

The shelter is quite a rural spot and has its share or wild residents, these ratties visit every day to feed from the bottom of the bird feeders, we also get wild rabbits, squirrels, pheasants and countless other birds including red kites and sparrow hawks. We're quite proud of the nature on our doorstep. I'll take this opportunity to remind everyone to put water out in these hot times for wildlife.

URGENT PLEA....

Whilst we have had to make the heart breaking decision to close our small animal rescue, we still do have our larger animals to look after. So if you are still paying a monthly donation please be rest assured that this is still going to very good use and we really appreciate your ongoing support. Many thanks ❤️

We are sad to inform you that we have had to make the tough decision to close the small animal section for the foreseeable future. Due to everyone’s changing financial position caused by the covid 19 lockdown and the amount of cancelled standing orders we have had, we can no longer meet the minimum monthly costs to run the shelter for both the small and large animals. 💔

We have some very sad news. Barney, our feisty cockerel, vanished 2 days ago. We believe he must have been taken by a fox even though it was mid afternoon when he disappeared. Poor Betty was distraught and it was her calls that alerted us to the situation. We made the decision to keep Betty locked in her run until we could find a new home for her and we are happy to announce that she left for her new home this morning with someone who has adopted hens from us before. She will have plenty of company including other bantams. 💔

I am a Forever pet. I need care and attention. I am not just the latest fad to keep you occupied during the pandemic whilst you are at home. I need time to settle in- you are all unfamiliar to me, as is your home. I will scratch your furniture and carpets because I am a cat and it is what we do. Buy me a scratch post and some mats and I will be happy to scratch those instead (sometimes I will forget though and scratch whatever is close to hand) Please don't get mad at me, I don't do it on purpose. I need a responsible home and to be cared for unconditionally. Please only take me home if you can offer me this and in return I will be your best friend forever 🐱💛

Some wild babies living on the shelter site, there are so many different bird species having babies at the shelter at the moment including 100s of starlings and these little great t**s. We try to keep them all happy and fed.
