A wee reminder for everyone now the weather is heating up and looking like it might be on our side!
Please understand some of our lessons may be less fast paced than normal in hotter weather and some lessons may be substituted for a walk or hack out at peak times if it is very hot 🙏 our ponies work very hard and while we want everyone to enjoy their time here with us, they are our main priority and we need to look after them particularly in the heat 🌞 and they are certainly not used to working hard in this weather!

Please remember to wear suncream to your lessons!

Also, as much as we love the weather..... shorts, skirts, dresses are a no go! even in the sunshine! Also please remember boots must be worn at all times when mounted, crocs, sandals and trainers are not appropriate for riding in! anyone who is not appropriately dresses will not be permitted to ride!!

Have fun and enjoy the sun!

Adult club this week. If anyone would like to take part please let us know. Thank you

ADULT SUMMER CAMP 2025
IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Hello everyone, camp is coming!!!
Below is a very long post with lots of info but please take the time to read 🙏
** I am aware pic 3 says Thursday 17th July - i cannot bear to edit it again as have been doing this for hours now 🤣 it means Sunday 17th August 🤣🙈 also, i know sunday PM says katie - its not its Eilidh for the duration of camp! sorry!**

Camp emails are currently on the way to everyone! Please check junk folders and return ASAP!

1.CAMP GROUPS
We have posted a list of groups/horses for camp.
This year is slightly different with us having to shuffle due to horses hours/ rider requirements/ lame ponies and whatever else the universe likes to throw at us in the week before camp as usual 🤣 As a result of that, some riders will not be riding the same horse for the whole of camp and there may be switches happening between lessons! GROWN UP'S ....... the kids to got it right so lets hope you can too! lol
It is the responsibility of each camper to know
- what arena/ riding area they should be in
- what time they should be there
-what pony they should be sitting on
Unfortunately camp is very intense 24/7 and staff are not able to monitor and chase campers into the right places 🤣 Staff are also not available to help with tacking up etc - our ponies tack is kept in the riding school tack room with bridle and saddle pegs labelled for each horse!

2. ARRIVAL
Arrival for camp is any time for 9.30am with camp commencing at 10.30am - please do not arrive before this as staff are very very busy setting up for camp and trying to be ready to go - it does not matter how early we start it is never enough time 🤣🙈
On arrival, please report to the office, leave an emergency contact number and inform a member of staff if you are staying overnight or returning home on Saturday evening! Please can we ask everyone to park sensibly as we have boxes and trailers coming for the duration of camp so the car park will be very very busy so squish in as best you can everyone 🤣

3. HORSE CARE
Can I take this opportunity to remind everyone that the pens/hay/water etc is a priority and during camp all campers must be actively involved in looking after their ponies. This includes all ponies they are riding and the shared spaces they accommodate! All pens must be mucked out and left clean at the end of lessons, ponies must be rugged appropriately and turned out after lessons finish and the yard must be tidied up! All campers who are using riding school ponies for camp are expected to help with this, many hands make light work!!

4. STABLE HIRE
If you are hiring a stable from us, the stable must be left how you find it with all bedding removed, fully mucked out, swept out and ready for the next horse to come in 😃

5. FEEDING TIME 🤣
Wednesday Lunchtime 1pm - 2pm
Wednesday dinner time 6.30pm
Thursday breakfast time 8.30am
Thursday lunchtime 12-1pm
We will provide all main meals above and orange/blackcurrant juice. We do not provide fizzy juice or snacks. All snack must be brought with you for the duration of camp - we do have the vending machines available as well.

6.TENTS
All tents to be pitched in the paddock on the left when entering the yard. Please collect all rubbish from the paddock and take to the bin at the end of camp- we have ponies who graze this field regularly! Tents can be pitched any time from 9.30am onwards - fingers crossed the forecast is currently looking to be on our side!

7. PICK UP
Any campers who are not staying overnight with us - please let us know so we arent searching for you later on!

Camp officially ends for another year on Sunday evening at 5pm.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for coming along to camp and supporting us as always throughout the year - particularly bearing with us in the run up to camp which can be manic🤣 -just like camp itself! 🤣 for those of you returning for a 2nd/3rd year - thank you so much for joining us again and we hope this year is even better than the others!
We can't wait to see everyone and hope you all have an absolute blast, make new friends and learn loads!
As always Jenna and Laura will be on hand the whole time, any problems please let one of us know and we will do our best to help!

SEE YOU SOON CAMPERS!!!!!!!
