This handsome Cockapoo has been coming to us for just over a year, and we’re so proud of his progress! 🐾❤️
When he first started, grooming was a big challenge for him and building trust took time and patience.

Two Cockers, two very different grooms today! ✂️

One keeping it classic with a hand strip and tidy to maintain that natural texture and appearance, while the other had a full clip-off makeover ✂️✨
As groomers, we don’t usually recommend clipping off Cocker Spaniels as they are a double-coated breed, and clipping can affect the coat’s texture, colour, and regrowth. However, every dog is an individual, and sometimes a clip-off is the kindest and most practical option depending on the condition of the coat, lifestyle, and owner’s preferences.
Individual dogs, different needs, but both left looking and feeling their best! ❤️🐶

Not every terrier is suited to being hand stripped from nose to tail — and that’s absolutely okay. 🐾✂️

Sometimes a dog is getting older and can’t comfortably stand for a full hand stripping session, and sometimes they simply aren’t keen on certain parts of the process. In these cases, a mixed grooming approach can be the best option for both the dog and the owner.

For this terrier, I hand stripped the jacket to maintain the correct harsh texture and natural colour, while sc******ng the face, legs, and feet to keep her comfortable and looking smart. This still preserves much of that classic terrier appearance and natural coat texture, while making the groom more manageable and enjoyable for the dog.

Grooming isn’t one-size-fits-all — it’s about finding the right balance for each individual dog and their needs. ❤️

Just a reminder that I will be away on holiday from 19th June until 4th July and will be unavailable during this time. ☀️🚙

I am now fully booked before my holiday, so unfortunately I don’t have any remaining appointments available before I leave.

For this gorgeous pup, it’s all about maintaining that beautiful long beard and those signature ponytails. Keeping longer styles looking their best takes regular grooming, careful maintenance, and plenty of attention to detail to prevent tangles while preserving the look their owner loves.

A fresh groom for this gorgeous black spaniel today 🖤🐾

Spaniels are known for their beautiful coats, but keeping them healthy and tangle-free takes regular maintenance. Today’s groom focused on removing excess coat, tidying the feathers, and keeping everything neat and manageable while still maintaining that classic spaniel look.

Not only does regular grooming help them look their best, but it also keeps their skin and coat healthy, prevents matting, and makes life more comfortable for these active little adventurers. ✂️✨
