Join us outside the gates of MBR Acres, PE28 2DT. This factory puppy farm breeds up to 2000 beagle puppies every year. At 20 weeks old they are sold to contract testing laboratories across the UK for toxicology testing. They are treated

as a product. We know that they are living, breathing, sentient beings that feel pain and loss. The camp page is here to give you daily updates and information, live streams, and camp call outs. Please check out the main website and our social media pages for events and key campaign information. Camp Beagle defines itself as a strictly lawful advocate group . Our primary objectives are to free the beagle dogs bred at MBR Acres Ltd and to ban animal testing in the UK. Our strategy consists of a public awareness campaign, lawful pressure tactics, industry exposure and to challenge the current law with scientific and ethical arguments and process. Two days after the Government announced its roadmap to allegedly "phase out" animal testing, they published 12 new licences granted during July - Sept 25 that require retrospective assessment. Total animals to be used over 200,000 in the next 5 years. They are mainly mice and zebra fish, but it also includes 92 beagles and 20 macaques.

Licences that require retrospective assessment are severe harm and/or use special species (dogs, cats, horses and NHPs)

Licences for animal experiments are secret. We, the public, are only allowed to see a redacted summary. We believe this licence is for Sequani laboratories in Ledbury where MBR puppies are regularly sent to be tortured and killed.

The suffering and pain these animals will undergo is unimaginable.

2 more death vans came to MBR this morning to do their dirty business...taking puppies to labs to be tortured in cruel, useless hopelessly misleading and outdated toxicology tests.

In the pre-election Labour Party manifesto it read

"The party will promise to publish a roadmap to end the use of animals in the scientific testing of products. In the first year of a Labour government, a board of experts will be tasked with coming up with the plan to phase out the use of dogs, minipigs and rabbits in testing. This will include an end to medical testing when scientific alternatives "

This morning the Labour Govt replied to our petition as it reached the 10,000 mark..it reads

"The use of animals for development of products for human use remains necessary. The Government therefore does not agree to end testing on dogs and other animals for testing and research purposes.

HUGE NEWS!

Stericycle have joined the boycott of MBR Acres! There have been protests across the UK for the last 18 months against Stericycle, who collected the bodies of dogs killed inside the world's most notorious puppy factory farm.

This has been a huge collective effort: their chimneys climbed in Kent, rooftops occupied in Bournemouth, disruptions in Ipswich, mass protests at their Leeds HQ, activists driven into in Liverpool, and Camp Beagle reporting on Stericycle movements at MBR.

This winter solstice marks an incredible five winters of Camp Beagle standing outside the gates of hell at MBR Acres — five years of love, hard work and resistance.

We’ll be holding a demo to honour this milestone, and to remember the liberation of the MBR beagles in December 2022 by Animal Rising — a moment that showed this world what compassion in action looks like.
