The Pooch Parlour The Pooch Parlour was established in 2014 and is a Dog Grooming salon on the Golcar/Milnsbridge border in Huddersfield. Dog grooming prices start at £27.50.

The Pooch Parlour was established in 2014 and we have come a long way since then, overcoming bad luck and injuries to still be open. This year (2020) has been particularly tough, but we survived and continue to deliver an excellent service for your pooch. We ask that new clients make an appointment for a free consultation before booking that first groom. I am a fully insured and qualified dog groo

Our contract terms and conditions can be found on our website: www.pooch-parlour.com. The Pooch Parlour rents a table to . Lydia grooms larger breeds and has availability outside of my hours. Lydia has been at The Pooch parlour for approximately 2 years now and has met most of my regular pooch clients.

🐾💷 Did you know that if you pay for your dogs groom by card on a Friday or Saturday I have to wait until Monday to get the money. I am also charged 1.5% per card transaction.

From next week I will be trialling Spot to take payments. I have a personal QR code that you scan on your phone and you can pay me directly from your banking app. The money goes into my business bank account straight away and the transaction fee is only 0.3%. It cuts out the hassle of giving out bank details so should be quicker too.

Of course I will still take card payments, cash and bank transfer, but I wanted to give my customers a heads up that I am also offering Spot as a payment method. 💷🐾

🐾 Just a polite reminder that I need 48 hours notice for a cancellation. I am getting a lot of cancellations with less than 24 hours notice at the moment. I can’t always fill appointments with this little notice and do have running costs I have to pay. Any cancellation with 48 hours or less will have a fee to pay. No show will be full groom price. This is my job and if you don’t show up for your appointment I don’t get paid.

Updated contracts will be available very soon as I start to rebrand 🐾

🐾 Rebrand. In case you were wondering what was happening with it. I will still be rebranding but I am going through a divorce which is taking up any savings I had (came at completely the wrong time). The rebrand will happen once I am divorced. Fresh start and all that. It’s expensive to reprint flyers, design new logos and artwork etc. Hoping it’s not too long, but have a feeling it will be. 🐾

Merry Christmas to all my pooches and their families. Having a well earned rest, it’s been a very stressful and busy last 6 months and I appreciate all your support.
