💚🐾🌞 Hot Weather Policy 🌞🐾💚

As the salon is based within a glass conservatory, temperatures can rise quickly, even with ventilation and air conditioning in place. Your dog’s comfort and safety will always be the priority.

During the summer period, all appointments are reviewed daily to ensure conditions are suitable for your dog’s groom. Travel to and from the salon is also taken into consideration.

On particularly hot days, the salon may close earlier, typically around lunchtime. To help minimise disruption, the salon will operate seven days a week where possible, allowing appointments to be rescheduled at more appropriate times.

To ensure a calm, safe, and positive experience for every dog and customer, please take note of the following when visiting the salon:

• Entry is limited to customers with appointments
• Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times
• While many dogs are friendly, some may feel nervous or reactive — please avoid approaching or touching any dog without permission

These guidelines help create a secure and comfortable environment for all pets in our care, and allow each appointment to run smoothly.

💚🐾 Why Drop-Off & Collection Timing Matters 🐾💚

At the salon entrance, you’ll notice a pink sign displaying either “Please Come In” or “Grooming in Progress.” This helps ensure every dog is groomed in a calm, safe, and controlled environment.

To support this, please aim to arrive at your scheduled drop-off and collection times. Arriving early may mean I’m still focused on another dog and not quite ready to welcome you.

Why timing is important:
• Supports a calm and predictable experience for each dog
• Helps the day run smoothly so every pet receives the time and care they need
• Maintains a safe, controlled environment with minimal overlap
• Allows full attention on each groom without rushing
• Keeps the salon relaxed and comfortable for all

If your dog requires a little extra time, you’ll always be contacted in advance. There may also be occasions where an earlier drop-off becomes available, and I will let you know if that’s the case.
