Today is National Dog Photography Day 📸 Here's some of our favourite photographs taken in the salon by our social media manager Orla from oe designs. Although Orla is primarily a graphic designer/illustrator, she also loves animal photography. We're thinking about hosting a photoshoot before Christmas, where we can take some beautiful pictures of your dogs in front of our Christmas backdrop, which we will have professionally printed on canvases. We are yet to decide on the cost or dates of this, but it would be great to hear if this is something you'd be interested in 😊

Level 2 student Hannah carried out a thorough health check on Dotty and gave her a clean bill of health! She then gave Dotty a bath with a lovely facial massage, dried and brushed, clipped nails and trimmed her pads. Tutor Paula neatened up her coat by handstripping, and Dotty had a wonderful time receiving lots of attention and fuss.

Some more photos from Level 2 City & Guilds student Ella and tutor Paula's grooms of Otis and Ginny the Bedlington terriers. Ella and Paula bathed, dried and prepped the dogs side by side, before Paula finished off the grooms by styling their heads into a pet version of the Bedlington trim.
