National Animal Welfare Trust Cornwall National Animal Welfare Trust rescue centre in Hayle, Cornwall, rehoming approx 300 animals per year
(2)

The National Animal Welfare Trust's centre in Cornwall came about as a result of the inspiring work of Molly Wyatt. Molly worked hard over many years to provide a rescue and rehoming service in Cornwall, and shortly before her death in 1996 she asked if NAWT would be willing to carry on her work. We agreed to and in 1997, we took over financial and organisational responsibility for the work in Cor

nwall. We rehome around 300 cats and dogs at our Hayle centre every year. Every animal has been individually assessed and cared for by our experienced and dedicated staff. All animals are vet-checked, neutered, vaccinated, wormed and microchipped before being rehomed. We also have a local charity shop in Hayle and can accept donations for the shops directly at the centre.

PLEASE SHARE! - Oscar is looking for his forever home… or a loving foster home while he waits.

Gorgeous big guy Oscar would love to find a forever family to call his own. While he waits for that special home, we are also searching for a suitable foster home where he can enjoy some home comforts and plenty of love.
Oscar is a big character who enjoys his walks and would happily explore for miles, so he’s looking for someone who enjoys getting out and about as much as he does! He’s strong on the lead, so he’ll need someone physically able to walk him.

A few things Oscar is looking for in his ideal home:
🐾 A secure garden (he can be a bit of a Houdini if it’s not!)
🐾 Someone who won’t need to leave him home alone every day for long periods.
🐾 An active home that can keep up with his love of long walks
🐾 He will need to stay on lead when out and about
🐾 He is unable to live with cats
🐾 He could possibly live with another dog
🐾 He could live with children

Oscar has so much love to give and deserves a comfy sofa, plenty of adventures, and a family to call his own. Could you offer this lovely boy the permanent home or foster home that he’s been waiting for?
