Established in October 2016, Trails with Tails - W.Cornwall, provides experienced, professional Dog Walking and Puppy Visit services for customers in and around Hayle, Marazion and Godolphin. You can find full details of the services on offer, including pricing, in the ‘Services’ section, but in summary, Trails with Tails offers:
• Dog Walks – all-weather, engaging 1-hour group walks for a maximu
m of five dogs. Dogs love to explore new places, so the walks will be local but varied – from coastal to countryside. I will happily collect and drop off your dog(s).
• Puppy Visits – Getting a new puppy is an exciting time – but a demanding one too! Should you need someone to pop in whilst you’re at work to check on, feed and play with your pup, this could be the perfect solution. The happiness and safety of your dog(s) is paramount. Trails with Tails is fully insured, and whatever service/s you use, your dog(s) will have constant supervision, they will not be unattended at any point and will only ever be transported in my van which has been fitted with bespoke, crash-rated dog crates, ensuring maximum protection during transport to and from walks. In case of an emergency, whilst in my care, all dogs will wear an additional tag carrying Trails with Tails contact information. I have an NVQ Level 3 in Animal Care, and hold a Level 2 in First Aid for dogs too. About me:
Hi, I’m Jodie and the launch of ‘Trails with Tails’ is the realisation of a long held ambition for me! I have worked professionally with dogs of all breeds and behaviours for over ten years and simply love the sense of reward that comes from working with them. I’ve had the pleasure of working with some incredible people too, but running my own dog business has been my long-standing dream. Dog Agility is a hobby I have enjoyed for more than 15 years. I have had dogs all my life, and my furry family currently consists of Misty, Chloe and Peaches.
• Misty is a 17 year old Sheltie/Collie cross – I’ve had her since she was just 12 months old. Over the years, she has been an absolute constant in my life and I’m not sure what I would have done without her! She is certainly responsible for my passion for dogs – and I will forever be grateful to her for that – that’s why she’s the inspiration behind my new logo!
• Chloe is a 4 year old spaniel and has been with me since she was 8 months old. She’s a super energetic girl and loves nothing more than exploring the world with her nose!
• Peaches is a 3 year old spaniel that was rescued from Egypt where she suffered awful burns and was fearful from being kept in confinement. Now, she is a happy, healthy, playful and somewhat cheeky girl that is almost unrecognisable from the dog she was. She’s even been getting some agility awards recently! Depending on numbers, my dogs may accompany me on some of the daily walks (there will never be more than five dogs on any one walk). As I have worked with dogs for so long, they are completely used to being with and around other dogs with me – they enjoy making new four-pawed friends as much as I do! Further information:

• Please be assured, your dog(s) will only be walked off-lead when I am fully confident that a relationship has been established between the dog and I, ensuring good recall.
• To protect all of the dogs in my care, all dog(s) must be up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments and must be microchipped.
• Unfortunately I am unable to offer any services to un-neutered male dogs at this time.
• As a very small business, please understand that I must charge in full for cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice.
