🚧 Road Closure Notice – Guildford Road (A323) 🚧

Please be aware that a section of Guildford Road (A323) is currently closed in both directions just east of Normandy, near Willey Green, due to essential gas works. This is shown in the map below.

❗ This may affect journeys coming from Fairlands, Wood Street Village, and the Merrist Wood area.

If you’re coming from this direction, you can turn right into Cobbett Hill Road, then follow it around to join Pirbright Road, which leads directly to us.

If you’re using a sat nav, it may reroute you automatically, but we recommend allowing a bit of extra travel time just in case.

Reserve Champion for Rubi in the PSG Gold today at regionals🥈

He gave such a cool feeling in the warm up and took so much of that work into the test which is super. An over exuberant extended trot and little blip in the canter proved costly as we missed the win by just half a mark, but couldn’t be more pleased to finish where we did with scores up to 72%, despite not having a clean test. His tempis and pirouettes got rewarded with 8.5s, which is such a positive take away as when he stepped up to the level only a few months ago, both were pretty wild and unpredictable. Patience and perseverance is most definitely paying off 🙌🏼

We finished 4th in the Inter 1 and a lot of the work actually felt even better than the PSG. Little mistakes crept in through Rubi’s sheer desire to over-try, but how is he to know that you do in fact have to come back to trot and cannot canter the end of that test 😆

Overall a super day at the office and a little glimpse at the exciting horse he is turning into. Thank you to his owners Trish & Sarah for the continued trust and for coming down South today to support us. Always grateful to be on this journey together and to have you both in our corner 🙏🏼
