We are extremely proud of you Vicky you rode your heart out and our Pippin Toby fulfilling their dream and both coming home safe and sound from a trip round Badminton grass roots 100
A great dressage , clear cross country a few time faults as Vicky lost her whip at fence 5 and Toby was a little distracted by the crowds ,and two down show jumping but he has the heart of a lion and gave it his best, we have owned him since a 4 year old now coming 17 the journey hasn’t been straightforward,sadly his breeder Helen Barton Smith sadly passed away so never got to see the end result , well Helen I hope you were looking down and this put a smile on your face it certainly did ours 🥰

Finally unpacked from our few days away at the British Show Pony Society winter champs , the kids as usual had a ball both on and off their ponies , and the first time really they get to meet up with all their friends across the country.
Some great results from lots of new combinations and novice ponies who really benefited from a few days on the trot. Sofia Franchitti and Rotherwood Dora Dora also picked up their Rihs ticket
We managed to get a few photos but still waiting for a couple to come through, a huge thank you to ARENA UK SHOW Centre, all the judges and stewards who were all so friendly and encouraging 👏
Thanks also to our owners for their brilliant catering and to Cerys,Tilley, Tabbie, Janey and Rachel for running the stables and turning all the ponies out to perfection 👌Not forgetting Ruby who held the fort at home 🥰

Day 3 of Easter and a trip back to Aston Le Walls for pony day at Bsps Area 7 such a beautiful venue

Again a little lacking in photos, but we managed a few, first in was Cerys in the young intermediate show hunter gaining her qualification for the Bsps winter champs on Dunard Mirahs boy owned by Natasha Anglin.
Next up Rocco Lindsay on Mrs Lyn Baillies Heniarth Stand Up they headed the Rihs Junior small breeds , Rocco also took his 133shp Tandridge Hallmark to get some more ring experience before Rocco heads back to school,a good 3rd pull in but sadly a wrong leg which Rocco corrected very smoothly dropped them down line up but getting to build a partnership every outing.
Agatha Miller and Weydown Royal Consort were a fabulous 2nd in the Rihs m&m first ridden going the best they have ever gone super proud.
Another little combination getting better each outing Belles Corrigan and Barkway Man in the Moon another 2nd for them in the Rihs show pony lead rein.
Amira Curran jumped a fab clear round in 90cm worker stakes but when we looked at the marks sadly her number wasn’t even on the sheet 🙈 so not sure what happened there.
Last in Sofia Franchitti riding Eleanor Franchitti’s Barkway Moonlight and after a nasty tumble at area 16 Sofia came back with fire in her belly to win the Rihs show pony first ridden and go on to be reserve mini champion.

Day 2 of the Easter weekend and it was Horse day at Area 7
First up Sharon Harris’s new riding horse on his first outing out with Jess giving the ride judge a beautiful ride ending 4th in the novice exciting times ahead for this new combination.
Next up Debby Booth riding her own Peerless gaining their 2nd RIHS ticket of the season in the Amateur Riding horse 👏
Now home, the whole team involved in a quick turnaround ready for a trip back to Bsps Area 7 for pony day 9 on the buses so won’t be to much rest tomorrow 😂

A Trip to Bsps Area 16 yesterday in the lovely Suffolk sunshine so lovely to be out on beautiful grass rings , sadly not to many photos as it was a very busy day and not without a few ups and downs but on the whole a very successful day.
Super pleased with Heniarth Stand Up bred by Richard Miller and owned by Mrs Lyn Baillie after a light season of a few novice classes last year and a winter of hacking around the Scottish countryside side, Stan headed the Rihs M&M first ridden qualifier and went onto be reserve champion ridden by Posy Lindsay.
Super pleased also with Barkway Man in the moon in his first open class gaining a 2nd in the Rihs show pony lead rein ridden by Belles Corrigan and owned by Michael and Steph Corrigan.
The highlight of the day for us and not to be outdone by his sister was Rocco Lindsay who has had to hand over his comfy slippers (Thistledown Galaxy) to Posy and start a new journey and step up a gear, to ride Tandridge Hallmark bred by Joanna Adams who also did a light novice year last season, riding brilliantly to win the Rihs 133 Shp.
Sienna White had a 2nd in the novice coloureds then into the Rihs class going brilliantly with much improvement but a little exited hump going into gallop sadly put them down the line on this occasion.
Also joined us back across the water Amira Curran with the one and only Sebby gaining a 2nd in the Rihs junior large breeds.
Last but definitely not least Emma and Worsenden Priscilla sneaked her Rihs ticket into the day
Huge thanks to everyone that helped on a very long busy day and a huge thank you to Ruby who was at home manning the fort 🙏
