Slightly deviating from our normal show ponies/ horses the new kid on the block Thames Oak Westend Girl just a 4 year old owned by Charlotte Weston bought as a 6 month old foal broken by Emma and Charlotte picking up their Hoys ticket at The New Forest Show 😍

Finally the last day Rihs Sunday mini show pony day, Barkway Man in The Moon ridden by Belles Corrigan and led by Gayle were a fantastic 5th in the show pony lead rein, super pleased with this little chap in this his first season getting better each outing,followed by Sofia Franchitti and Barkway Moonlight after no initial pull did a cracking show to come up to 3rd place in the show pony first ridden, Sofia also rode Rotherwood Dora Dora in the 128 show pony class going beautifully and coping with riding that big ring sadly no placing but what a fabulous experience!
Then the packing away to travel home started 🙈 but at least it was sunny ☀️

Saturday was the day for the small hunters and intermediate Show hunter where both Emma & Cerys rode Natasha Anglins Dunard Mirahs boy sadly no placing for them but he gave them both the most Amazing ride and galloped his heart out, obviously Cerys got some photos but we forgot about Emma 🙈 epic fail ! But we did get one of her outside the ring just to prove she did ride there after giving her other ride to Cerys ! So sorry Emma we will order some on line 🙂

Rihs Riding horse Friday, Debby with Peerless and Jess with Lislan Rule both these fairly novice horses taking everything in their stride in a hugely strong small riding horse class and going beautifully for the ride judge both completely different types, Jess and Lislan Rool ending a fabulous 7th, hats off to Debby who has been on a massive journey with Peerless and this week due to competing in the Amateurs has done this horse totally herself all week Well done Debby and Jess 👏👏

Thursday was mini M&M day Heniarth Standup smiled his way around the ring to be a fantastic 4th in the first ridden, bred by Richard Miller owned by Lynn Baillie and ridden superbly by Lynn’s granddaughter Posy Lindsay, such a special pony by Heniarth Wood-Wind out of Rhoson Siesta.
To follow Emma was asked to lead Mandy Burchall Smalls Heniarth Chaffinch in the lead rein ridden by Mandy’s granddaughter Scarlett her first time riding in the show ring what a great way to start 6th at the Rihs, quite emotional as Scarlett’s mum Florence is one of Emma’s best friends a really magical day !

Wednesday was Show Hunter Pony Day, super proud of them all and they had great fun galloping up the famous Rihs Hill! The Star of the day has to be Rocco Lyndsay with Jane Lindsay’s Tandridge Hallmark in this their first season together and Sid’s first open season, After Rocco winning the 123cm class last year with Thistledown Galaxy I don’t think he could believe it when he was called forward to win the 133cm shp this year and getting another fabulous spin in the main ring 🤩
A huge well done to Rocco,Katy,Posy and Jaz 👏👏

Rihs Tuesday 45 Minutes before the class Emma decided to give up her ride for Cerys as she has worked so hard this year and her dedication to the whole team is unquestionable and the fact that Cerys has not been placed at the Rihs since she was in lead reins !! A wonderful fifth place in her class put her forward for the junior coloured championship Worsenden Priscilla you didn’t disappoint with a fabulous gallop in your Favourite ring making more of our family dreams come true ❤️
