We have had a stray cat handed in to the East Kilbride branch by a member of public.

He has been neutered but unfortunately does not have a microchip. He was found near Tesco in St Leonard in East Kilbride, mostly white but has marking on his head and tail.

Did you know even a small amount of raisins (or grapes) can be dangerous for dogs?

They can cause kidney failure, so it’s important to act fast if your dog eats any.

🚨 What to do if your dog eats raisins or grapes:

✔️Call your vet immediately. Don’t wait for symptoms
✔️If you can, tell them how much they’ve eaten

Signs of raisin poisoning include vomiting, lethargy, and loss of appetite. Even if your dog seems fine, seek
veterinary advice.

TEMPORARY RECEPTION FOR 8 WEEKS CATHKIN

All services will be accessed via our portakabin as we begin refurbishment of our reception and waiting area.

Staff will be present and available to guide you through the process.Checking in for appointments you will be given a buzzer and asked to return to your car.When buzzed you will be greeted by the vet at the temporary entrance.

After your consultation we ask that you pay in the portacabin and collect any treatment prescribed before you leave.

FINALLY MAKE SURE YOU RETURN YOUR BUZZER.

Prescriptions/food can be collected between 9 am and 5 pm.

We appreciate your cooperation and the team are super excited to be entering the final phase of our refurbishment!

🚨 Important Client Notice 🚨

EXTENSIVE RENOVATIONS - CATHKIN BRANCH 2024/25
We are delighted to announce that we will be carrying out a full refurbishment of our Cathkin branch, to update and improve our facilities. Works will commence on Monday 7th October 2024 with an estimated date of completion in June 2025.

PHASE FOUR - RECEPTION & GROUND FLOOR
We are pleased to announce that our Cathkin surgical space and upper administration area has been fully updated, marking the end of phase three of our refurbishment. We are now able to offer all surgical services as normal. We look forward to showing our clients the changes we have made soon.

Phase Four will begin on Monday 31st March, focusing on reception and the rest of the ground floor. Please note that due to our staff having to relocate to our other branches, we will be working on a very limited capacity with some consultation rooms and all of reception being closed. We will continue to utilise the space available in our branches, and thank our clients for their understanding while the work is carried out.

There will be limited disabled access in Cathkin while the works are on-going, with very few consultations taking place in Cathkin. Please continue to contact all branches as normal and our staff will assist with all queries and advise accordingly.

It is likely, where possible, that we will ask clients to collect their prescriptions from either East Kilbride, Clarkston or Shedden's branches.

We will do everything we can to ensure continuity of service but some disruption will be unavoidable.

We apologise for any inconvenience these renovations will cause but look forward to taking you on this exciting journey with us. We will keep you regularly updated via our social media and website.
