Reggie was an absolute star when he came in to visit us for some dental work this week. Believe it or not these were taken after his treatment, he was still a very happy little man. He may even win the award for waggiest tail. 🦷💙

🤩 Friday Favourite! 🤩
Here’s Poppy and her beloved hippo, she came to us for surgery and needed her little teddy friend for support. As you can see from this gorgeous photo, Poppy was more than happy to be here with us for the day!🦛🩶

✨A day in the life of Dustin!✨
This lovely little chap is Dustin, he was a star patient when he visited us to be castrated. Here is a little behind the scenes look of how the day went, as you can see it did involve a lot of the most important of jobs, cuddles!

After he was admitted Dustin was prepped for his surgery, starting with Charlotte and Emily taking pre-operative bloods. These are run in house so we can get the results back before surgery takes place, they check for any underlying conditions we may not be aware of before putting the patient under anaesthetic.

The vet was happy with Dustin’s bloods which meant we could go ahead with surgery, he was clipped and cleaned before heading into theatre for the procedure.

Once the surgery was completed he was wrapped up in a blanket to recover quietly before his cone had to be put on to go home, this will stop him from interfering with his wound during his post op recovery. ❤️‍🩹

Skye came to visit us as she had an unexplained swelling come up on her foot. Our vet Kate thought it best to investigate this sudden swelling. As you can see she found and removed a rather large splinter!
Here Skye is showing off her lovely bandage, luckily the bandage was short lived as she has healed up nicely! 💚

A huge congratulations is in order as we are delighted to share that Charlotte our Student Nurse has passed her final exams and is soon to be a Qualified Veterinary Nurse! 🎉

Her hard work and dedication hasn’t gone unnoticed and we are all incredibly proud of her. 💖
