Hello lovely customers - we are OPEN on this Bank Holiday Monday from 9.30am for a few hours. It is National Walking Month and is the perfect month for long rambles with your dog. We have a huge range of dog leads, collars and harnesses from fun ones to training ones in some lovely colours in store.

The weather is hotting up later in the week, though, so do be mindful of not walking your dog in the heat; take short shaded routes with plenty of water along the way. Ursa loves a local loop that has at least two streams for paddling.

Did you see we have put out our cooling range of dog products, too, from cooling coats to mats, toys and paddling pools? Come take a look 👀

I’m having a bit of a tough time with the performance of all my social media platforms. No matter how much work I put into them I’m struggling with exposure and getting my business in front of people.

This is causing me a lot of stress and having quite a negative impact on my MH. I just don’t know what else I can do now and the injustice of my work not being seen, but the most ridiculous/disgusting/drama filled content will go viral is just soul destroying at this point.

These platforms reward trends and algorithms over talent and depth and I don’t believe this is something that will ever change.

Today we handed over our fundraising cheque to Forever Hounds Trust at our hounds event in store today. Our lovely customers raised £86 for the charity and the fabulous Saz Back was the winner of the giant octopus toy! Thank you to all who contributed and bought tickets. Here's our Wendy Robinson handing over the cheque and receiving a certificate for Not Just Pets Frome from FHT. Wendy has also painted a picture to donate to FHT's upcoming auction and here she is also donating the painting.
