Being a behaviourist is not just about working and training the dog, to make a difference we need to teach the other end of the lead to even begin to see any changes in the dog.
This session excited me very much to literally see the dog talk to us through her body language.

Yep, we need rules and boundaries and lots of individual training or this natural guardian will be a handful to live with.
Train your dog now before bad behaviours become so ingrained that we then have to undo what has been inadvertently nurtured before training can really begin.

This little dude walked into our training centre this afternoon wanting everyone to know he was there, (like everyone in a 5 mile radius!)
He walked out a calmer dog with a great training plan under his collar, and was advised to attend next session... naked ;)

I had the absolute pleasure of working with this handsome boy today. He's reactive, and at a guess around 50kg.
His previous trainer/behaviourist had recommend he wears a harness, (not one with a front link) So, reactive dog v standard harness, I think we can guess where we are at and what we have to undo. Lifestyle turnaround now in progress as 'phase 1' to change his mind set.
It's massively doable.
