Good morning,
If have an upcoming groom booked this week please read
Due the extreme heat all grooms this week after 11am have been rescheduled so far, to ensure there is no risk of heat stroke. Keeping your dogs welfare always as the top priority. Please note this isn't necessarily due to the temperature of the salon, but the journey here or home, or the whole process can increase body temperature, stress levels, heart rate and aggression tendencies and be very uncomforatble for them. But ultimately this is to prevent a fatal health emergency. Heat stroke is extremely fast acting. At sollys dog grooming i will never take the risk which I am sure as a responsible and loving pet owner you share the same view.
I will be monitoring the temperature each day, and use my best judgement to reschedule any appointments necessary. As always, I will work early, late, weekends to get your dog rescheduled.
Please keep an eye on your phone and do not attend your scheduled appointment unless I have messaged prior to confirm it going ahead.

Please be understanding, this is extremely frustrating for me also, as well as a huge financial and scheduling nightmare.

ON HOLIDAY !
hello you wonderful bunch! Thank you for being flexible and understanding as we rescehuke and jiggle around appointments during heatwave and heatwave to keep you pups safe.
I am now on holiday 🛫 until Monday 10th August and won't be monitoring and messages.
I hope you all have a lovely next few weeks and see you all when im back to it on the 10th, feeling rested 🌞👌

Important information for next week !!!!
Temperatures predicted can be dangerous for your dog. If you need advice on keep your dog safe please ask your vet.
Your dogs welfare and safety are my top priority. It is likely many appointmens next week will be rescheduled. Please note ths isn't necessarily due to the temperature of the salon, but the journey here or home, activity prior to the appointment and the enitre process putting them at risk of heat stress which can lead to heat stroke, which can be fatal.
I will be monitoring the temperature each day, and use my best judgement to reschedule any appointments necessary. As always, I will work early, late, weekends to get your dog rescheduled.
Please keep an eye on your phone and do not attend your scheduled appointment unless I have messaged prior to confirm its going ahead. Keep them inside, keep them cool, keep them safe.
