This handsome chap is Rex 😺✨ Rex requires a little patience and a calm home but once he is comfortable, he will certainly show you what a loving and playful boy he can be.

Rex is always ready to greet us in the morning with a little meow and jumps at the chance for playtime with his human companion 🎾💛 He is full of energy and eager to give his love to anyone who is willing to give him time to get to know them.

Rex wants to be the centre of attention but is likely to take some time to come out of his shell, and so is looking for a home with no other pets or young children 🏡💫

If you recognise this cat or know who it might belong to, please call Melanie on 07470 091245.

Thinking about adopting a dog? 🐾
Before you decide, it’s important to be honest about whether a dog truly fits your life. They need time, company, training, routine and plenty of patience — every single day.

Think about the practical bits too: daily walks, vet bills, food, grooming, insurance and planning your schedule around them. Dogs are a long-term commitment, so future plans, children, moving home and even holidays all matter.

You also need to make sure a new dog will fit in with current pets and everyone in your household. And if you’re unsure, fostering first can be a great way to see what life with a dog is really like.

Adopting is amazing — just make sure it’s the right time for you and for them. ❤️🐶

🧠✨ Quiz-tastic Thanks from Team Wadars! ✨🧠

Our Charity Quiz Night on 1st November was an absolute blast and it’s all thanks to everyone who came along, joined in the fun, and supported us! 💙

We’ve loved reading all your kind messages and hearing how much your teams enjoyed the evening. A special shout-out to our amazing volunteers, who helped make the night run so smoothly. 🙌

Together, we raised just under £1,000 to support Wadars and the work we do for local animals — an incredible result! 🐾

A special thank you to for donating our top prize which boosted the amount the raffle made by a massive £200!

Keep an eye on our page 👀 we’re already planning another quiz in the New Year, and we’d love to see as many of you there as possible! 🥳

This is Betty, 6 years old 🐶💛 We think it’s fair to say that she is just about the happiest and most friendly dog you’re ever likely to meet.

Betty is house trained and used to being left alone. She is also happy to be around children 👧🧒 We have put Betty on a healthy eating plan as she likes her food 🍽️ She would also benefit from some more exercise 🚶‍♀️

Betty is generally around other dogs but can be competitive with other dogs over treats 🦴

Perhaps you can be the one to welcome this lovely girl into your home 💕🐾

If you are interested in adopting Betty, please call Wadars on 01903 247111 to request an application form.
