Meet Toffee (brown and white) and Fudge (brown), a charming pair of brothers looking for a home together

Toffee and Fudge share a lovely bond and enjoy exploring side by side, making them a joy to watch. They could happily live with children and would suit either an indoor or outdoor setup, as long as they have plenty of space and enrichment.

If you think you could offer this delightful duo their forever home, please apply here: https://wadars.co.uk/small-animal-adoption/

Please be mindful of bird nests this nesting season 🐦

🐾Bird nests are protected by the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981, which means they must not be moved or destroyed while they are being built or in use. Disturbing a nest at this time can cause adult birds to abandon their eggs or chicks.

🐦If a nest that is empty or still being built is accidentally knocked down, it’s best not to try putting it back. It may no longer be secure, and the birds will usually rebuild a new nest themselves.

🐣If you discover a nest in your garden or nearby, the best approach is to leave it undisturbed and give the birds plenty of space.

📞Please call Wadars on 01903 247111 for any further advice on nest or young birds.

It is with great sadness that we share the news that Tracy Cadman passed away peacefully at St Barnabas Hospice in May.

Tracy was a dedicated member of Wadars for 10 years. Through her compassion, commitment, and tireless work, she helped build far more than a workplace, she created a genuine extended family among staff and volunteers.

Her passion was always centred on the welfare of the animals in our care. Tracy worked tirelessly to ensure every animal was treated with kindness and dignity and given the very best opportunity to find a loving home.

Our trustees, staff, and volunteers extend their deepest condolences to Tracy’s family and friends at this difficult time.

Tracy will be remembered with great affection and respect. We are committed to continuing her work and honouring her legacy by upholding the values she cared for so deeply.

Did you know that Flea treatment isn’t just for cats and dogs? – rabbits need protection too 🐰✨

Fleas can cause itching, skin irritation and even lead to more serious issues if left untreated. Regular, rabbit-safe flea treatment helps keep their coat healthy, prevents discomfort, and stops infestations before they start.

Always use products recommended by your vet, as some treatments for other pets can be harmful to rabbits. 💚
