We've seen a few claims floating around recently about certain breeds needing "specialist" grooming at exorbitant prices because of the way their coats are groomed.
We believe grooming should be about the dog in front of you — their coat, condition, needs and the finish you're looking for — not simply putting a premium price on a breed.
For example Pomeranians are a double-coated breed and need proper coat care, brushing, bathing, drying and finishing appropriate to them. It's a well know fact that Poms are scissor trim only, clippers shouldn't be going near your pom. Dont be fooled into thinking scissor trims are specialist, merely standard practice ❤️

With the potential heat today, our pup cups will be served **INSIDE Epping Reef & Reptiles**, where it’s lovely and air conditioned, rather than from our stall outside as usual. 🧊🐾

Please remember to use **common sense when taking your dogs out in hot weather** — avoid hot pavements, take plenty of water and keep walks shorter if temperatures rise. ❤️🐕

🐝💙 **WOW... WHAT A DAY! THANK YOU, EPPING!** 🐶🍯

We're honestly blown away by the support we received today.

Our very first **FREE Doggy Honey Drizzle Pup Cup Saturday** with **The Raw Honey Company** was an incredible success... so much so that **we completely ran out of pup cups!** 🐾💛

Seeing so many happy dogs enjoying their treats and so many of you stopping by to support local businesses made today truly special.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, met the team, sampled the honey, bought a jar, or simply stopped for a chat. The support for both **Epping Reef & Reptiles** and **The Raw Honey Company** was amazing.

But what makes us happiest is what this means for **Wallace Kennels**. ❤️

Thanks to your generosity through donations of treats, food and toys, along with every jar of honey sold helping to provide even more supplies, today made a real difference to the dogs waiting for their forever homes.
