We don't often see rodents in practice due to not being a specialist in the area, however there are basic ailments that we are able to see and assess 🐭

Little mouse (brown) was recently brought to us after the owners noticed some upper respiratory noise, joined by brother nip ❤️

The vet assessed noise for any serious concerns before starting treatment to continue at home 🐾

Although it is not as common to see these little guys in practice, it's a welcomed occurrence when they do 🥰

We hope the treatment works well and mouse is feeling better soon 💙

Coco was recently seen by his own practice after vomiting kebab sticks at home and was given treatment ❤️

After his owners noticed him deteriorating, they brought him back for further investigations and testing where he was then transferred to us at Enfield.
Coco stayed with us where he had chest and abdominal scans which confirmed that there was still a remaining kebab stick in his stomach. Coco was then transferred into theatre to retrieve the stick.

Coco stayed with us for another 3 nights to recover and ensure that he was back on his feet and eating again before continuing his recovery at home 💙

During his stay, Coco stole all the hearts of the vets and nurses that cared for him and we hope his recovery continues to be smooth sailing 🍀

A Puppy and Kittens first course of vaccines are vital to disease prevention. These are usually done at 8, 12 and 16 weeks of age and repeated at 1 year 3 months for their first yearly booster 🐾

For puppies like Murphy, we vaccinated again distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus and leptospirosis. There is also the kennel cough vaccine that can also be given to prevent secondary illnesses such as pneumonia ❤️

Murphy was a very brave boy during his visit and will soon be set to explore the parks with his owner 💙

Seras was recently with us for a laparoscopic spay 🐾

Lap spays are only usually recommended in dogs over 10kg due to the incision size difference. The recovery is also alot faster ❤️

Seras has since been given the all clear to continue her shenanigans 🩷

Our endoscope has had a work out this week! On the left a washing up glove that most definitely was not meant to be eaten and on the right a grass seed that had been in a cats nose for a long time. Both pets are now recovering well. We’re so lucky to have this equipment on site and the staff to use it!

If you’ve visited recently you won’t have been able to miss the renovation work we have been undertaking. There is a still a way to go while we undergo a full and complete refurb throughout the whole of the building. This will give us updated facilities including a cat only ward and consult room, intensive care unit, nurse consult room, ultrasound suite and much more

We thank you for your patience whilst we undergo this long awaited work and ask that if there’s anything we can do to help you or your pets during your visit please do let us know

Keep your eyes out for some sneak peeks, once complete we will of course be inviting you for a look around in person
