We are back after our Easter break! 🐣✂️
A huge thank you to everyone who has brought their doggies in so far this week, it’s been lovely to see you all again! 🐶💛
Our students are super eager this term and have been working incredibly hard over the past couple of days. We’re slowly getting through all your enquiries and will be in touch very soon to make sure everyone is booked in.
We’re really looking forward to seeing all your lovely dogs and giving them a well deserved pamper session! 🛁✨

We are beyond proud to wish our amazing tutor Becky the very best of luck as she heads off to compete at the prestigious Crufts!

Not only will she be showing her beautiful Cocker Spaniels, but she’ll also be competing in the brand new Dog Grooming Competition launching at Crufts this year – what an incredible achievement!

We’ll be cheering you, Tilly and Oscar on every step of the way!

✨🐾 What a Fantastic First Week Back! 🐾✨

We’re back after half term and what an amazing week it’s been at the salon!

We’ve welcomed so many lovely doggies in for grooming thank you to everyone who has trusted us with your beautiful pups. 🐶💛

Our students have hit the ground running! They’ve been preparing their shopping lists ready for Crufts next week and enjoyed an informative talk all about dog showing, getting lots of inspiration.

Alongside lots of fabulous grooms, we’ve also been busy cleaning plenty of doggy teeth to keep those smiles sparkling! 🦷✨

A big warm welcome to our new Level 2 adult students starting their journey with us, we can’t wait to see how you grow and develop.

🎉✂️🐾Huge congratulations to our incredible level two students! 🎉✂️🐾

We’re so proud to celebrate 38 students who have successfully passed their Level 2 City & Guilds Dog Grooming Assistant qualification!

After completing a wide range of practical assessments and theory exams, they have all done amazingly well.
We can’t wait to see some of you progressing on to Level 3 and to hear all about your future careers in the dog grooming industry.
Well done everyone, you’ve worked really hard!! 👏🐶

✂️🐾 What a fantastic afternoon!

This afternoon was all about handstrip spaniels and teddy bear cuts, and wow our Level 3 students absolutely smashed it. Their scissor technique is really developing, and it shows in the finish of their grooms. These doggies are all looking stunning!
So proud of the hard work, focus, and progress 💛🐕

It may be mid week hump day… but just look at these gorgeous doggies 😍🐾
Our Level 3 students have been working so hard, making every pup look adorable and feel amazing for their owners.
We’ve groomed them all, little, large, young, and old and every one has been an absolute star ⭐

As part of the students’ experience at Capel Manor College, we love inviting guest speakers to give a real insight into the industry to inspire, educate, and share their experiences, knowledge, and contacts.
We were honoured this week to welcome Alisha Wingfield from Scruff 2 Fluff Dog Grooming, who joined us to talk about her business and the success she’s achieved since leaving college after completing her dog grooming course.
