🐾✨ A new chapter begins at our grooming salon! ✨🐾

While we've been saying goodbye to another fantastic group of students, we've also had the pleasure of welcoming our brand new Level 2 students for their first taste of dog grooming during our Get Ready for College days! 🐾💙

What a few days it's been... there was LOTS of hair (seriously... everywhere! 😂), plenty of de-shedding, relaxing mud masks, wagging tails, and, of course, lots of doggy cuddles. We think it's safe to say both the students and the dogs had an amazing time!

We're also very thankful for our wonderful air-conditioned salon, keeping everyone both two-legged and four-legged cool, comfortable, and happy throughout the warm weather. ❄️🐕☀️
We can't wait to welcome everyone back at the end of August for enrolment and the start of another exciting year of learning!

🐾✂️ Another fantastic year in our College Grooming Salon! ✂️🐾

As another academic year comes to an end, we'd like to thank all of our wonderful clients for supporting our students throughout their training.
Our students have worked incredibly hard, developing their grooming skills and growing in confidence with every dog that has visited the salon. We couldn't be prouder of everything they have achieved.

A huge congratulations to all of our students on completing their qualifications. We wish you every success in your future careers and look forward to welcoming some of you back next year to continue your learning.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted us with your four legged friends. Have a wonderful summer! 🐶❤️

🌞 Important Notice – Grooming Salon Closure 🌞

Due to the current heat warnings and in the interest of keeping everyone safe, our College Grooming Salon will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday this week.

The wellbeing of our students, doggies, clients, and staff is our top priority, and we feel this is the safest decision during the extreme temperatures.

We have contacted all clients with appointments scheduled on these days via email and/or text message, so please check your messages for further information and updates regarding your appointment.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and would like to thank you all for your understanding, patience, and continued support.

Stay safe, keep cool, and give your furry friends plenty of shade, water, and cuddles! 🐶💙

🌞 We Are Still Open for Grooming! 🌞

Our grooming salon remains open as usual, and thanks to our air‑conditioning, both our students and your lovely doggies stay cool and comfortable throughout their visit.

However, your dog’s welfare always comes first. If your dog is not coping well with the heat, or if it is not safe to travel, please let us know. We strongly recommend bringing dogs in an air‑conditioned car and parking right outside the salon so they do not have to walk on hot ground.

If you have any concerns at all, just give us a call: we are more than happy to cancel your appointment to keep your dog safe.

🐾 Thank you for supporting our students and helping us prioritise animal welfare. Stay cool and give your pups an extra cuddle from us! 🐾

A huge thank you to Sally Hart for coming along and delivering the Emmi Pet Teeth Cleaning Course to our students and local groomers.

🐾✨ Celebrating Success at Our College Grooming Salon ✨🐾

This week we were absolutely delighted to welcome back Liza, who studied both her Level 2 and Level 3 Dog Grooming qualifications with us.

Liza has successfully launched her own business, Hammond Hounds, and is thriving working as a social media influencer alongside some fantastic brands, including Peanut & Pickle. We’re so proud to see her achievements and how far she’s come!

During her visit, Liza gave an inspiring talk to our Level 2 students, sharing her experiences, advice, and passion for the industry. It was such a valuable opportunity for our learners, and we’re incredibly grateful she took the time to come back and motivate the next generation.

A huge thank you to Liza and Peanut & Pickle for the amazing goodies, we can’t wait to try them out in the salon!

While we’re all enjoying the sunshine, don’t forget to keep your doggies safe and comfortable in the heat 🐶💛

🐾 Hot Weather Tips:

• Always provide fresh, cool water
• Walk your dogs early morning or later in the evening
• Avoid hot pavements, if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws
• Never leave dogs in cars, even for a few minutes
• Keep grooming appointments regular to help maintain a healthy coat during warmer weather
