Bonfire night is just round the corner and this can be a very stressful time for your pets🐈‍⬛ here's some tips on how to reduce your pets' stress and keep them safe during firework season:
🎆Keep them inside during fireworks to keep them safe and reduce stress
🎆Consider calming supplements such as Nutracalm on the run up to Guy Fawkes night
🎆Walk your dog early in the day before fireworks start - your dog may get spooked and bolt if they hear a firework while out and about
🎆Make sure your pet is microchipped and your contact information is up to date
🎆Create a safe space for your pet in a quiet area of the house away from windows and put on music and/or the TV to help mask the noise of fireworks
🎆Try not to leave your pet in the house alone when there's likely to be fireworks
🎆Consult your vet for advice if your pet gets really stressed about fireworks
🎆If you're thinking of setting off fireworks in your garden then maybe reconsider, there's plenty of public fireworks shows and the less fireworks the better for our furry friends! Remember: fireworks can stress out wild animals too and put them in danger 🦊🦡🦉

🎆If your pet is scared of fireworks then book an appointment with your vet for advice, allowing plenty of time before bonfire night.
🎆 If your pet usually gets medication to help with their nerves at this time of year then don't delay in getting their prescription🐾 Remember: we need at least 24 hours for prescription requests, bearing in mind your pet may need a health check first if we haven't seen them in the past 6 months.
🎆Have you ever tried calming supplements such as Nutracalm? Trying these for your pet on the run up to firework season can help with those nerves.
