Happy world parrot day 🦜

To celebrate world parrot day and all the things that are wonderful about them we’ve sent up a fundraiser to help support the world parrot trust . The work they do in rescue, rehabilitation and the conservation of parrots is phenomenal and something we care deeply about here at Potter’s World!🦜

Advocacy around this day has helped drive major wins, including the EU ban on importing wild-caught birds👏🏼

If you have birds at home why not celebrate today with us by buying them a new toy, making them a healthy tasty treat or even teach them a new trick! And of course don’t forget to donate🫶🏼

Did you know Barn owls are silent fliers!? Making them brilliant predators when sneaking up on prey!

🦆 We’re fully, unapologetically obsessed with our ducks.

From the big confident waddlers patrolling the pond to the tiniest fluffballs melting hearts over in Potter’s World, they’ve basically taken over… and honestly, we’re not mad about it.

There’s just something about watching them glide, wiggle, chirp, and cause the cutest kind of chaos that makes every visit brighter. Families love them, kids adore them, and even the “I’m not really an animal person” people crumble in seconds.

So if you need a smile, a wander, or a moment of pure wholesome joy, come say hello to our feathered favourites.

Check out our new Bearded Dragon enclosure! You will now be able to see Spike in the tropical village, happy new home day to you!💚

Did you know bearded dragons communicate through waves and head bobs. Fast head bobbing indicates dominance or territoriality. Slow bobbing can signify submission or courtship. A circular, slow motion wave of the front arm signals submission or recognition of a dominant dragon, saying “I come in peace”. 👋🏼
