A nod to the 200th anniversary of steam power in Co.Durham! sdrfestival

The Polar Express is a magical storybook, and we hope you enjoy how we’ve brought its wonder to life in our window this year.

The masterpiece of the very talented Claire Frances Howe, my friend who uses the pet shop windows as the canvas of her creative outlet, the 6th year of crafting that is perfected each year.

We do it for the community of Lanchester a village that has lost too many friends this year, but with hard years and heavy farewells comes friendships and gratitude unmeasured

Lilydale pet supplies are taking part in lanchester food week, we didn’t want our 4 legged friends to miss out!
For that week only we will reduce our own brand kibble by £2.50 for 2 kilo bags and £5.00 for 12 kilo bags.
With ever rising price increases on so many brands of its quality this is the perfect oppertunity to make the switch.

Lilydale kibble is made with single source proiten, is grain free, 50% meat content, made in the uk in small batch fashion, the meat and fish within is from the manufacturers own farms and fisheries

Val White, our much-loved friend and co-worker, sadly passed away on Wednesday August 27th.

Friends please come together to remember Val on Thursday September 18th at 3pm at Durham Crematorium.
You are invited to wear a touch of green which was Val’s favourite colour.

Refreshments will be provided afterwards at The Old Ice Cream Shop in Lanchester from 4pm – 6pm. Friends unable to attend the funeral service are also invited to join us.

In Val’s memory there will be a collection for Sri Lankan Street Dogs one of the many animal charities Val supported.
