We are on the look out for riders, who don't want to hang around🐎
The camp we have planned is going to be fast paced, cantering where we can and even our walk is going somewhere, if you get my drift!😉
Here's the low down ⬇
Explore the Peak District Moors Camp!
📅Wed 20th Aug - Fri 22nd Aug we have availability to stay one of the nights, if you cant make 2.
🐎Stay 2 nights and awake with the views of your horse out in their individual, secure paddocks.
🌄Three days of riding over moors and woodlands. The trials have varied terrain with some river & stream crossings and a small amount of road work - mainly on country lanes.
There also maybe livestock, walkers & bike riders on route. Walk/trot/canter on grassy tracks.
🐎All horses & riders must be confident our in open spaces on grassy tracks and road work.
Check in between 10am & 12pm.
🐎The first guided ride will be heading out at 2pm. The ride on Wednesday will roughly take 1 1/2 hours Moorlands & farm ride (5 miles) with varied terrain, water crossing and a small amount of road work on country lanes.
🐎Thursday Ride (9.6 miles) (Moorland 2 hours) Amazing scenery and tracks, looking over Curbar Edge, passing Barbrook Reservoir. Again varied terrain, gates, stony paths, hill work, along with lovely tracks with lovely canter stretches.
This ride is a combination of all three gaits, walk/trot/canter in open spaces. A small amount of road work will be involved for this ride.
🐎Friday's Ride (5.5 miles) 1 1/2 hours via lovely bridleways, water crossings with road work along country lanes.
There will be another opportunity for a steady canter before going home. And you can finish off you break with a canter along our farm ride.
This weekend is designed with riders in mind who would like to be able to walk/trot and canter in small groups along lovely tracks in open spaces over moorlands and fields, there maybe chance for something a little faster too!!
🌻Another bonus, whilst on your stay with us here at Unthank i that you will have full, exclusive access to our farm ride, which leads straight from camp.

🚙The price includes a 2 night camping pitch or one of our on site caravans, 2 night stay for your horse in one of our paddocks and the 3 days of guided rides.
Adults only.
⛺We allow tents, horse trailers or horse lorries per pitch.
🚿On site we have a shared eco loo, hot running shower, a small kitchen area and a small honesty shop selling most foodie essentials.
💰Prices start from just £117.50 per night, per rider.
