In light of the recent confirmed cases of strangles around the area, we would kindly ask all those attending the show on Sunday too follow the increased bio security measures.
Please use the alcohol gel before and after handling horses, we would also request that all those attending use the boot wash which will be available on the show ground.
Please DO NOT ATTEND if you are coming from a yard which is known or suspected to have cases.
If your horse has possibly been in contact with others which are showing symptoms or have tested positive.
Please do not handle other people's horses, if you must do so in an emergency then please ensure hand washing is done immediately to avoid cross contamination.
Please also do not attend if your horse is showing any symptoms of illness e.g. nasal discharge, coughing high temperature. If in doubt please seek veterinary advice and do not travel until cleared.
Please do not allow horses to have nose to nose contact, other than those in established herds.
Please keep horses in your trailor area when not in the arena and do not allow them to graze on the grass around the car park.
To minimise risk to the livery yard we would request that you bring all your own equipment including water and buckets, we would also like to request that any droppings be removed and taken with you and not disposed of on the yard.
Presentation of rosettes will be done unmounted with the riders coming into the ring.
Failure to comply with requests will result in competitors being asked to leave the show ground.
Many thanks for your cooperation and understanding and together we can ensure that our ponies can remain safe and well.
