Burgharde Dressage

So yesterday we decided to go a little “off piste”! We went to Newbold Verdon with young Otto (Burgharde Quantavius) and at the last minute decided (well, Josh Mellor did!) to see how he faired at Advanced Medium as he seemed a little bored with Medium! Anyway the little diversion from the plan worked and he got 66.97% and seemed to thoroughly enjoy his new challenge!

Thanks as always to the whole team………I suppose we will be out doing PSG next week will we??!!😂😂

What a great day at Aldham Mill we had yesterday!

First up was Burgharde Revie in her first affiliated competition and she came 1st in both her Prelim tests with 72% and 72.82%.
Next up was Burgharde S*x Bomb who got 2nd in both his Novice tests with 68.60% and 69.61%.
And then last (but certainly not least😂) up was Eclipse of Burgharde, he was on top form winning both the Novice tests with 69.80% and 70.57%, what a little superstar he’s turning out to be!!
Burgharde S*x Bomb and Eclipse of Burgharde are now double qualified for the Regionals. Well done Josh Mellor!

Another great day today! We took both stallions Burgharde Quantavius (Otto) and Burgharde S*x Bomb (Archie) to Newbold Verdon Equestrian.

Archie took 1st place in both Novice tests with scores over 70% and is now qualified for the Regionals.

Otto took 2nd place in both Elementary tests and is now qualified for the Regionals, plus we decided to step him up and to do one Medium test and he got his first qualification sheet!

Both boys behaved impeccably and a massive well done to Josh Mellor for riding them both so well to gain such fantastic results.

Thanks as always to all the team (sorry I don’t seem to be able to tag anyone at the moment)! Teamwork really does make the dream work!

Fun in the sun today!

Training with Carl Hester for Eclipse of Burgharde (Eddie) and Burgharde Quantavius (Otto) and Josh Mellor. The boys were fabulous, learning so much that we can now take away and work on as we begin to move the horses up the levels.

Well done to Deb for driving the lorry all that way and back today, never easy when you’ve been up so early and back so late.

Back out competing again next week!

Today we took both our stallions to Newbold Verdon Equestrian and got three 1st places and a second place!
Burgharde S*x Bomb (Archie) got 73.67% and 72.74% in the Novice Gold and then Burgharde Quantavius (Otto) got 71.41% and 70.76% in the Elementary Gold.
A long day, however so worth it with both stallions picking up two qualification scores each.
Thank you as always to the whole team, we couldn’t achieve these results without everyone’s hard work and input.
