Balance pads
....a great way to help horses become more aware of their own bodies and where their weaknesses may be.
By feeling the different surface under their feet, they can start to adjust their own posture, balance, and weight distribution. It gives them the chance to think, feel, and make small changes for themselves, helping improve body awareness and confidence.
Simple, slow work like this can make a big difference to how they use their body 💜

🦄🦄 WANTED – DEMO RIDERS & THEIR HORSES! 🦄🦄

We’re looking for a few lovely riders with their own horses to take part in our Academy Saddle Fitting Training Day on Friday 26th June🎓🐴

You’ll be helping our trainee saddle fitters gain real hands-on experience — they’ll carry out a full saddle fitting session with you, just like they would with future clients.

👉 Each session will last around 1½ hours
👉 You can join for either a morning or afternoon slot
👉 Stable provided for your horse while you’re here
👉 PLUS enjoy 1 hour of arena hire of your choice as a thank-you 🎁
And of course… there’ll be plenty of cake and drinks! 🍰☕and icecreams if 🔥

Pony appreciation day 💜

Our beautiful Pepper is now a veteran at 21 years old, and she has been with me since she was just 4.
Over the years, Pepper has taught so many people to ride — whether that was in the riding school, through the loan scheme, or out competing at riding club with a variety of jockeys.
One of her most special partnerships was with my daughter Charlie during Covid, when Pepper helped her find her confidence again. She gave Charlie the courage to jump out in an open field, and together they enjoyed show jumping and cross country.
Pepper now leads a quieter life as a much-loved therapy pony, with the odd hack out wth Joe my youngest son when she’s feeling good. She lives out on our track system, which helps support her EMS, keeps her moving, and helps with her arthritis.
She truly is a diamond, and so many people have loved her over the years — so today we just wanted to show our appreciation for our very special Pepper 💜

Ella’s 8-week progress… ✨
Her feet are becoming more balanced, and her splints are nearly gone thanks to reducing pressure and using kinesiology taping methods to support her legs.
We’ve now started activating muscles and teaching her how to use her body more correctly, helping improve her posture and core strength. She is now backing up properly, and her front legs and shoulders are happily supporting her weight more squarely, allowing her neck to relax and her core to engage.
There is still a long way to go, but she is definitely moving in the right direction — and it’s lovely to see her body starting to feel more comfortable. 🐴✨
