Fireworks can be distressing for many pets, here’s some handy tips for keeping our furry friends safe and comfortable this weekend.

🐾 Classic FM have a soothing pet playlist on this evening from 6pm which may help provide background noise to mask the fireworks.

🐾 Should your dog need to toilet in the garden later in the evening, consider using a lead to help prevent panic and escape should a firework go off unexpectedly.

🐾 A covered cosy crate, access to under tables or chairs can all be safe places for a frightened animal to find comfort.

🐾 Provide comfort and reassurance as they need it, comforting a distressed animal does not “reward” or “encourage” their fear, quite the opposite.

If you are planning on attending an event, I still have availability for evening care service to ensure your dog is in a calm safe environment whilst you’re out.

Don’t worry, I’m here to help!

Im offering a one off evening care service on Friday 5th November, so you can go and enjoy your evening, safe in the knowledge that your dog is safe and sound in a calm environment.

There will be only 4 places available on a first come first serve basis, please get in touch to book your doggy their place.
