Oliver🩶

Handsome Oliver visits me every 8 weeks with his gorgeous sister Bella, and honestly, these two could teach some dogs a thing or two about how to behave at the groomers!😂

They know their routine from start to finish and make themselves right at home. Straight into the bath they go, followed by a jump onto the grooming table, where they stand patiently and perfectly while they are transformed!🛁✨

Oliver and Bella both have a teddy bear style, keeping plenty of their lovely fluff while creating a soft, rounded look with adorable fluffy feet and a beautifully rounded face🐻

Not only are they the perfect clients, but they are also two of the sweetest and most affectionate dogs you could ever meet. Their visits are always filled with lots of cuddles and affection!

It is safe to say I always look forward to seeing these two fluffy faces every 8 weeks!🐾✨

Bruno💛🫧

If there was an award for the happiest tail in the grooming salon, Bruno would win every single time!😂 His tail starts wagging the second he walks through the door and it genuinely doesn’t stop for his entire visit🥹

This big, fluffy Lab knows exactly what he is here for and heads straight into the bath like a true professional every single time!🛁 He had a lovely deep clean and scrub, followed by a conditioning treatment to give that gorgeous coat some extra softness and shine.

Bruno is one seriously hairy boy, I gave him a thorough de-shed using the right professional tools to remove all those loose hairs and excess undercoat. His blow-dry helped bring even more of that fluff out, leaving his coat beautifully clean, fresh and feeling much lighter🫧

I also gave his ears a clean and his claws a tidy, before Bruno’s favourite part… being told how handsome he is, getting ALL the fuss and collecting his treats!🦴

And of course, there were plenty of kisses along the way because Bruno is just the sweetest, most affectionate boy. 💋

Laddie💙

Sweet Laddie is one of those dogs who makes my salon days that little bit more special💕 He jumps straight into the bath as soon as he arrives, ready for his pamper and is honestly the bestest boy throughout his whole groom. And, of course, there are plenty of kisses along the way!😘

For Laddie’s groom, we start with a good scrub in the bath to get him feeling fresh and squeaky clean, followed by a fluffy blow-dry and a thorough de-shed to remove all that loose coat.

I then give him a lovely tidy-up, with extra attention to his bum featherings and the top of his back, while keeping his gorgeous leg featherings and chest slightly longer, just how his owner likes them🥰

Laddie is always such a pleasure to have in the salon and I honestly adore him so much. He’s such a sweet, affectionate boy and makes my job very easy with his lovely nature❤️

Nelly, Nancy & Prince🌭🫧

Nelly & Nancy are already familiar faces, so it was lovely to have them back in for another pamper. But today we had a very special addition… little Prince!🥹

Prince was a little unsure when we first started, so we took everything at his pace. Lots of gentle encouragement, reassurance and most importantly, plenty of cuddles helped him realise that he was safe and in very good hands🤗

And Prince’s colouring… WOW!😍 I have never seen a Dachshund quite like him! His beautiful silver and white coat paired with those gorgeous green eyes makes him absolutely stand out from the crowd💚

The whole gang enjoyed a lovely freshen-up, including a bubbly bath 🫧, blow-dry, de-shed, nail trim and ear clean. They were all left feeling fresh, clean and ready for plenty of cuddles!🐾

Smudge🩶

Smudge can sometimes feel a little nervous when it’s time to come in and say goodbye to her owner, but the second they leave, this sweet girl transforms into the happiest, bounciest little pup!🥹 Her tail starts wagging, she gets so excited for her groom and absolutely LOVES soaking up all the attention and fuss throughout her visit. She really is the most precious girl.

Smudge has the most gorgeous curly coat to work with, and it fluffs out absolutely perfect after her bath and blow-dry. Because her curls can be prone to matting, I keep her at a slightly shorter length to help keep her coat more manageable and comfortable between grooms, while still leaving her with a little bit of fluff🫧

I already cannot wait to see this beautiful girl again in 8 weeks, when she’ll be back with her brother Reggie and sister Tilly!🥰

Belle💕✨

Today was this beautiful girls first ever groom and handstrip, and honestly, she was an absolute little angel from start to finish!🥹 She was so patient and well behaved for every part of her groom, making my job such a pleasure.

Belle was perfectly ready for her first handstrip and stripped out beautifully, leaving us with the most gorgeous natural texture and finish✨

I styled Belle in a breed-standard show trim, hand stripping her body while leaving her legs longer to complement her beautiful shape, movement and coat. She looked absolutely stunning when we were finished — such a gorgeous girl!😍

This gorgeous boy came back to see me today for his first proper full groom and I honestly couldn’t be more proud of him!🥹

When he first visited me a couple of weeks ago for his puppy groom, he was quite nervous and unsure of certain parts of the process. So today was all about building on that first experience and helping him realise that grooming time isn’t so scary🥰

He was a little anxious when Mum first left but after some cuddles, reassurance and a little time to settle, he soon found his confidence and from there he was such a good boy! 💚

For his first full groom, I decided to keep things lovely and fluffy with a longer teddy bear length, taking around half of his coat off🧸✂️

I always like to recommend starting with a longer length for a pups first full groom. It gives us the opportunity to see how their coat behaves, how they look at different lengths and, most importantly gives you a chance to decide what you love before we go shorter. We can always take more off at future appointments, but we can’t put it back! It is all about finding that perfect length for them going forward.

He did SO well today and has already come such a long way in just a couple of weeks. I am so excited to watch his confidence grow with every visit!🐾✨

I’m so excited to introduce Emmi-Pet Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning to Fancy Paws!🤎

Some of my clients may already know Louise, who previously taught dog grooming at Bishop Burton College. With her wealth of experience and knowledge, Louise is excellent at what she does and I am so pleased to have her joining me in the salon every so often to offer both grooming and Emmi-Pet teeth-cleaning treatment🐶✨

🦷 Emmi-Pet is a gentle, silent and vibration-free treatment designed to support your dog’s oral hygiene and help reduce plaque, tartar and bad breath. There’s no brushing or scrubbing, making it a great option for nervous or sensitive dogs.

Having Louise join me also means more availability and flexibility for my clients, giving you more opportunities to book your dog in for grooming or teeth cleaning🐾

Koda🩶

What a handsome boy - and WOW, did he have some coat to give!😍 As a Husky, Koda is a natural shedding machine, especially when he’s ready to blow his coat. I absolutely LOVE grooming big shedding breeds because there’s something so satisfying about getting all that loose undercoat out and seeing the transformation!🐺✨

Koda was such a good boy from start to finish. He jumped straight into the bath and happily let me give him a good scrub, helping to loosen all that dead and shedding coat🛁🫧

After his bath, Koda jumped straight onto the grooming table ready for his blow-dry. I used a high-velocity dryer to really work through his coat and help blast out the loose undercoat and honestly, the dryer did a LOT of the work!💨This is such an important part of grooming double-coated shedding breeds as it helps lift and release all that dead coat before finishing with the correct de-shedding tools to carefully remove the remaining loose hair.

The result? A HUGE amount of fluffy Husky hair removed and a much cleaner, healthier-looking coat!✨

To finish Koda’s pamper, I trimmed his nails, gave his ears a good clean and finished him off with a spritz of cologne🫧

Beautiful Belle came in this morning for her regular pamper, and as always, she arrived with the sweetest little face and the happiest waggy tail!🥰

Belle really is the most beautiful and sweetest little girl, and she is always so happy to come in for her groom!

She has a light trim on her featherings to neaten her up and give her a little extra shape to keep everything looking neat and tidy, I then neaten her little paws up and shape her ears and tail✨

A gentle tidy-up, a lovely bath and blow-dry, plenty of cuddles and lots of fuss later… and this little princess was looking and smelling absolutely gorgeous!👑🌸
