I have bowls of fresh water throughout the house - regularly changed throughout the day (filtered because of Herbie) and topped up constantly - a lovely friend popped round yesterday with a beautiful bowl she had made especially for the Herbie's Hyde Dogs - how lovely is this bowl 💙❤️💙❤️

What a scorcher of a weekend - hottest yet that I've had to navigate as a home boarder and it was a full house 🏠 🐾🥵🐾🥵

The four dogs staying and Herbie got on so well together in extremely difficult conditions, they all done so well 🐾💙💕🐾 Herbie is so over Summer already 😅 here goes, a massive shout out to, Max the cutest Cavapoo, Cassie the Cockapoo and the two gorgeous little dachshunds, Pandora and Posie and Herbie for being front of house 💙

Herbie has been struggling in the heat - brachycephalic breeds (flat faced pugs/bulldogs) need constant observation in these high temperatures. Walks are 6am or there abouts. Again very late in the evenings (if safe).

I will never walk a dog if it's not safe to do so, dogs are actually quite lethargic in extreme heat.

Take care of your lovely pets ❤️ heat stroke happens so very quickly and can be fatal. If in any doubt at all don't ask the Face Book Vets PLEASE seek immediate veterinary advice 🙏 from a veterinary practice.

Three Musketeers and Me! Summer Solstice ☀️ but sadly no sun in sight. Thank you to Blu Savannah 💙 for a wonderful atmosphere - the boys were up for an adventure. Lovely walk along Sewerby Cliff - they have all gone back to bed 🐾💤💤💤🐾 thank you Tao, Baxter and Herbie for indulging me in an adventure but to be honest I think after the high temperatures they enjoyed the cool air 🥰😎🥰
