Poor Joey had quite the mystery adventure before arriving to see us this morning! 🐱💔 He somehow managed to lacerate his tongue 👅 and needed a little help from our wonderful vet, Ellie. 🩺✨

After some careful stitching and plenty of TLC ❤️, Joey was back to doing what he does best by the end of the day... enjoying his dinner! 🍽️😋

We're delighted to see him on the mend and wish him a speedy recovery. Get well soon, Joey – we're sure that tongue will be back to stealing treats in no time! 🐟🧶💙

💃🏻 This sassy lady recently underwent surgery to remove an lump on her tail, resulting in a tail amputation. 🐈

Daisy was an absolute superstar throughout her procedure and recovery, charming everyone she met along the way. ⭐🌟💫

She's now back home recovering and doing brilliantly. Please join us in wishing her a speedy recovery! 💕😻

Happy Friday from all of us at Medivet Dinas Powys

Today we had a very special visit from two adorable Cavapoo puppies for their second vaccinations — and here’s the best part… they were actually born here at our clinic 12 weeks ago! 💕

It’s always so lovely to see our tiny newborn patients return as playful, curious puppies ready to start their next adventure.

In just one more week, these two will be ready to explore the world 🌍🐶

💛 Meet Gioia 💛

This beautiful Retriever came in for X-rays to help investigate her lameness, and she was an absolute superstar throughout her visit. 🌟

Gioia was so brave, calm, and full of cuddles, truly the best girl! We hope to help get her feeling much more comfortable soon. 🐾

Everyone at the clinic fell a little bit in love with her! 🥰

We have had a stray cat handed in yesterday found around the Cosmeston drive / althorp drive area of Penarth. She was staying in a garden for 4 weeks. The microchip is registered to a previous owner who entrusted her into the care of a family in this area a while. 😸 These lovely gentlemen visited us for their castration and were a pleasure to care for from start to finish. Calm, brave, and very well behaved!
