We have had a male neutered ginger and white cat handed in by a member of the public; He is approx 2 years old. Found around the Manifold Drive area of Alvaston. The phone number details on the microchip are not up to date so we are hoping we can find the owner to reunite. Please call us on 01332 756060 if you have any information. :-)

Scoobie visited us the other day for his annual vaccination and health check and of course he had to stop and have a cuddle from Head Nurse, Lizzy!

Can anyone guess what breed this beautiful boy is?

Dave came in to visit us for a post-op check the other day following a run in with a sharp stick when playing. We think Doughnut Dave looks so handsome in his inflatable collar and is on his way to a full recovery!

πŸ’šπŸΎ Veterinary Mental Health Awareness πŸΎπŸ’š

The veterinary profession is built on compassion, dedication, and resilience - but behind every patient cared for is a human being who also deserves support.

Veterinary professionals face emotional strain, long hours, compassion fatigue, and the pressures of caring for both animals and the people who love them. Mental health conversations in veterinary medicine matter now more than ever.

The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons have created a Mind Matters Initiative to support mental health and wellbeing across the veterinary professions through education, resources, and training.

RCVS Mind Matters Resources & CPD Guide https://www.rcvs.org.uk/veterinary-professionals/mind-matters/resources-and-cpd

No one in veterinary medicine should feel they have to struggle alone. Checking in, speaking openly, and supporting one another can make a real difference. πŸ’™

This week we said a very sad goodbye to the life and soul of the practice, our biggest cheerleader and absolute queen; Charlotte.
Charlotte has been a receptionist with us for 9 years and is part of the furniture now so her presence and big personality will definitely be missed by us and clients alikeπŸ₯²

We wish her all the very best in her new venture! πŸ‘‘πŸ©·
