Just a reminder not to leave pumpkins out for wildlife as they can cause problems such as diarrhoea, which is the last thing many animals need at a time when they’re trying to fatten up for winter!❄️💕

🐾 URGENT: WE NEED DOG LOVERS! 🐾

Our rescue is desperately short on volunteers — and our dogs need you! ❤️

We’re looking for kind, reliable people to help with:
🧹 Cleaning the kennels
🐶 Dog walking & cuddles
🎟️ Events/Fundraisers

No experience needed — just love, patience, and a willingness to get a bit muddy! 🌧️🐾

Must be 18+ years old.

Even a few hours a week makes a huge difference to dogs waiting for their forever homes.

🐰💗 There are many changes from now until after the new year that will affect our pets that live outside. Cold weather, fireworks and bonfires to name a few! Many owners choose to move their pets inside for the winter because of this. If this isn’t an option there are several things you can do to keep them safe and happy as shown in the picture 🥰💗🐰

If you have a nervous pet, Halloween can be a very daunting evening! Following these tips will help to keep everyone calm and your evening peaceful 💕

🐾 🌙 Now the nights are officially drawing in, it’s important to think about the safety of our pets in the dark! 🌙🐾

For dogs, consider them wearing a flashy/reflective collar and lead, or even a high vis vest! It’s important to keep them on a lead in the dark too.

For cats, consider keeping them in at night but for those that won’t, a reflective collar is really helpful to make sure they’re easily seen by drivers for example.

For both pets, making sure their microchip details are up to date is the most important thing you can do! Then if the worst happens and they escape or go missing they’re more likely to get home to you 🏡💕🐾

If your dog likes to eat on walks, take care as there are acorns about! Although severe cases of acorn poisoning aren’t seen often, they can really upset your dogs tummy so are best avoided 🐾💕
