Silica gel pouches are used to protect items from moisture and keep things dry. (Mainly items from abroad)

IS SILICA GEL POISONOUS?

Silica gel pouches usually have the words 'DO NOT EAT' printed on them but on its own silica gel is actually non-toxic.

You should keep all types of silica gel away from pets and other animals – even pure silica gel pouches could contain traces of harmful chemicals and are a choking hazard.

The Beco Pet Bowl is a food and water bowl made with plant-based materials including bamboo to help reduce our dependence on petroleum plastics. Instead, using renewable resources.
Uniquely made with Bamboo fibres blended with rice husks, a by-product of rice farming. The natural strength of bamboo makes them as tough and hard-wearing as plastic alternatives. The other materials used are cornstarch and rice husks. Cornstarch, a renewable material, is converted into polymers so it has the strength and versatility of plastic.
