Al’s cruciate blog
Hi everyone. I hope you and your pets had a great bank holiday. Despite my attempts at sabotage my 8 week x rays showed that I’m healing really well. I’m really enjoying hydrotherapy doing more and faster each week.
BTW if you hadn’t noticed it’s my birthday today 🥳

🔥🐾 BBQ Week Reminder: keep curious pets safe!

BBQs are a great way to enjoy the sunshine, but for our pets, they can come with a few hidden hazards.

💡 Top tips to keep your pet safe:
• Keep pets away from hot BBQs and open flames
• Secure bin bags and food waste
• Watch for dropped skewers or sharp objects

Dogs and cats are naturally curious, especially when there’s food involved, so a little extra care can help prevent accidents. 🐶🐱💛

🥣 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
💧 1/4 cup water
🍏 Splash of unsweetened apple juice

Blend until smooth, pour into a dog-safe cup and watch tails wag!

⚠️ Remember: Let them sip a little first to check for tummy upsets and never use grapes, raisins, chocolate, or anything containing xylitol as these are toxic to dogs.
