🎆Bonfire Night is almost here - let’s keep pets stress-free!

Fireworks can be overwhelming for our four-legged friends. You can make a big difference with a few simple steps:

☑ Give your pet a quiet retreat where they feel safe and snug
☑ Play calming music and close the curtains to soften the sounds
☑ Take your dog for an earlier walk before the celebrations start
☑ Stay close as pets cope better with familiar company

A little planning helps your pets enjoy the evening just a bit more comfortably. ❤

🚘 Road works update 🚘

There are currently roadworks on Braunston Road (A45) affecting travel times to the practice.

Between Monday 3rd November and Wednesday 5th November, a small section of Drayton Way will be closed with diversions in place, meaning it will take longer to reach the practice on Stephenson Close. Please allow extra time for your journey to ensure you arrive on time for your appointment.

🖤🐈‍⬛ It’s Black Cat Awareness Day! Sadly, many black cats wait longer for homes because of the myth that they don’t ‘photograph well’. We think that’s nonsense - with their sleek coats and striking eyes, black cats are some of the most photogenic pets out there. 🐾📷

Help us prove it by sharing your favourite black cat pictures in the comments and let’s show just how stunning they really are!

🐾🌲 Planning a hike in Northamptonshire or Warwickshire with your dog? A little preparation goes a long way to keeping your adventure fun and safe!

Pick a trail that suits your dog’s age, breed and energy levels, and don’t forget the essentials - water and a collapsible bowl, a comfy harness and lead, basic first aid, treats and plenty of poo bags. Keep an eye out for signs of fatigue or overheating, pause for breaks, and give your dog a tick check once you’re home.

With the right planning, every walk can be a great memory. Do you have a favourite hiking spot to recommend? Share it below! 🐶👇

Update: Owner found

‼️ CAT FOUND ‼️

We have had a cat brought into us after being hit by a car. He was found on London Road in Braunston. He is a black and white neutered male. He has a microchip but unfortunately there is no registered keeper on it so we have been unable to contact his owner. If you think he could be your cat please call us on 01327 87767.

‼️COMPUTER PROBLEMS‼️

We are currently experiencing problems with our computer system that means we are struggling to access patient files, book appointments, or take payments. We are still able to fully access PetsApp, email, and phones. Please use PetsApp for all non-urgent enquiries and appointment bookings. For urgent enquiries or emergencies please still call the practice as normal.
The tech team are currently working hard to get this fixed as soon as possible so we hope to be back up and running very soon 🤞
