Watching dogs grow in confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. 💛

Loki, our gorgeous Dachshund x Husky cross, has been coming to us since his very first haircut, and seeing how much he loves visiting the salon makes us smile every time. He gets walked past the shop regularly and still tries to come in to say hello – even on days when he's not booked in! 🐾

It's been a privilege to be part of his grooming journey, and today he left looking as handsome as ever. Thanks for trusting us with your amazing boy, Loki! ✂️🐶

Sometimes the kindest groom isn't the prettiest one. 💛

Coco arrived with severe matting, making a full shave-off the safest and most humane option. Removing matted fur helps relieve discomfort, prevents skin problems, and gives the coat a chance to grow back healthy.

With regular brushing and routine grooming appointments, we can help keep coats knot-free and comfortable all year round. Coco is already feeling so much better! 🐾✂️

Sometimes when a coat has been left too long, the kindest thing we can do is take it all off and start fresh 🥲

When matting gets too severe to brush through safely, shaving the coat down is actually the most comfortable option for your dog.. trying to brush or detangle it at that point would cause them real pain and distress, and that's never something I'm willing to do.

There’s no judgement here.. I know life gets busy, it happens more than you'd think.

But this is why I always say: little and often is so much kinder than leaving it too long. Regular appointments mean we never have to get to this point.

The good news? The coat grows back. And this time, I can help you stay on top of it.

If you're not sure how often your dog should be coming in? Just ask.. I'll always give you an honest answer

Milo the Bichon Frise came in for a fresh pamper and left looking fluffy, bright, and ready to turn heads! ✂️🐾

His coat was carefully washed, dried, styled, and trimmed to maintain that classic look while keeping him comfortable and easy to manage at home. We think Milo is looking absolutely pawsome after his spa day!

Milo and Archie visited us for their puppy grooms today and were absolute stars throughout their appointments. From baths and brushes to plenty of cuddles and reassurance, every puppy groom is designed to be a positive experience that helps build confidence for future visits.

☀️ Hot weather means extra care for every dog in our salon.
We always keep fresh water available, use cool-to-lukewarm bathing water, and keep dryers on the lowest safe setting. We constantly monitor for signs of heat stress, check room temperatures throughout the day, and if a dog becomes too warm or uncomfortable — we stop the groom immediately.

🐾 Please remember: if the pavement is too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for your dog’s paws. Avoid walking dogs during peak heat. Stay safe and keep your pups cool! 💛
