Pampered Pet Grooming

Pampered Pet Grooming Open, welcoming Grooming Parlour based in South Croydon. All breeds of cats and dogs bathed and trimmed beautifully by our trained and patient staff.

Our shop is a owned and run by Joy Lomas and Sarah Lomas with help from our lovely grooming team, Sarah, Chippie and Alex. All groomers have years of experience handling animals and are passionate about their job. On Saturdays we also have the added help of Amy, Jane and Lucy!

"We are looking for an enthusiastic learner who is happy to take instruction and work as part of a team. The candidate will learn all the basics of animal grooming which includes; prepping an animal, bathing, drying, cutting nails, cleaning ears and basic trimming. The most essential part of the role will be handling animals with care, patience and in a safe manner. The right candidate will understand the importance of health and safety in the workplace, a huge part of which is maintaining a clean and hygienic salon."

Hello you lovely lot,

So from Sunday 20th December we will be entering Tier 4.

The good news is we have been recognised by the government as an essential retailer we therefore will remain open until the 23rd December, then will re open from the 4th January 2021 onwards.

Please take a moment to read through our revised measures that we have put in place:

🐾 We are now appointment only, this includes our nail cutting service

🐾 Only one person in the shop at a time please (the only exception will be children), please wear a mask

🐾 Please be on time for your appointment

🐾 Please do not visit us if you are feeling unwell or have been told to isolate.

🐾 To maintain a contactless hand over please continue to use our built in holding pen

🐾 You will need to take home any collars, leads, harnesses and so on. This is to avoid cross-contamination as much as possible.

🐾 We will be misting your pets at the end of their groom with a non-toxic anti-viral spray called Leucillin. This product is designed for pets skin (including poorly skin) and kills 99.9999% of germs.

🐾 Cash or card is accepted, however if you are paying cash, bringing the correct amount will be greatly appreciated.

🐾 Please ensure you follow government guidelines when travelling to us. As part of your daily exercise, as part of an essential journey.

TIER 4 UPDATE:

We are essential retail and remain open

Hello lovely clients,

Just a little update regarding our temporary opening hours for December.

From the 7th December we will be open 6 days a week! We have extended our days as we are reducing the number of staff we have in the shop at once to ensure we maintain social distancing at all times.

We are already booking up fast! If you want a Christmas appointment please get in touch sooner then later.

We have a little change coming too starting in January! We will be opening some Mondays and closing some Saturdays. We will be running a 3 week rota!

Week 1: Monday to Friday
Week 2: Monday to Friday
Week 3: Tuesday to Saturday

This will be our normal standard working days (it’s not a temporary Covid measure)

If you are a Saturday regular please look at trying to book your appointments well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Sorry we have been quiet, we have been busy brain storming the best way we can open which is safe for our staff and our clients.

We have been given the thumbs up that we can remain open during the November lockdown due to pet welfare under strict government guidelines.

The salon will re open on the 14th November. Appointments are limited as during the lockdown we will be working part time with only 1 to 3 members of staff in at a time.

If you had an appointment for before the 14th November someone will be in contact with you shortly to reschedule
